A well-established publisher and events company focusing on health and education are looking for a Head of Content person to join their team. They are the marketing leading publisher in these areas with an established series of events, magazines that reach the entire market and an award-winning editorial team.
Their rapidly expanding portfolio of online and print publications along with their events, debate the most significant challenges facing the health, education and nursery sectors enabling operators, investors, and advisors to discuss the latest trends and build their networks.

The role:

The Head of Digital Content is a new role for a true all-rounder who is brimming with ideas. You will be happy to get stuck in and take ownership for building engagement with their nursery and care communities.
Your Responsibilities
  • Set-up and implement content plan and strategy that aligns with the key company objectives.
  • Develop and manage a content calendar.
  • In collaboration with our editorial team, develop the digital presence and cross-pollination of the traditional print publication, optimising online use.
  • Leading on partnerships and content collaboration initiatives by channel.
  • Collaborating with Partners and the editorial team on online talks and events.
  • Development of responsive, effective guidelines for brand and tone of voice across digital content.
  • A central, neutral point of coordination and quality control for value-add content.
  • Repurpose magazine content for digital channels.
  • Awareness of digital reporting, working with the Marketing Analyst to respond to analytics/impact of content.
  • Work with event producer to help ensure that our online communities, content, and events work in harmony to really add value and inform our stakeholders.
  • Website traffic and commercial awareness.
Role Requirements
  • 8+ years of B2B content strategy experience, including knowledge of building communities from scratch. Subject matter expertise in B2B industry trends.
  • Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, visual communications, and technical skills with the ability to write original, engaging copy on a range of topics.
  • Experience managing freelancers to create compelling content that tell the story to our stakeholders.
  • Monitor forums and lead community engagement in the UK.
  • Strong social media marketing experience (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok) to engage and grow our communities.
  • Writing copy for the website and working with external copywriters to keep website and brand assets super engaging.
  • Strong collaborator who understands how to work with different people to help them meet deadlines, generate content, and develop their point of view.
  • The ability/desire to manage and mentor junior team members as we grow.
