DRC are working with a highly successful retail business who are expanding their Digital marketing team and you will have the opportunity to be a part of this inspiring and talented new team whilst working in a brand-new role.  
The Role:
Our client is looking for a Digital Analyst to support the digital transformation of their Brand.
As a Digital Analyst, you will play a key role to develop their analytics capabilities in their new Digital Analytics Centre of Excellence. You would join a growing team that will operate for their 14+ markets!
You will be guiding their Digital Marketing and CRM teams to understand consumer pain-points and identify the biggest opportunities. This role will have the opportunity to transform digital data into meaningful reports and deep dive investigations. These actionable insights will be presented to senior stakeholders, external agencies, and will drive business decisions.
Reporting to the Digital Analytics Manager, this role would be ideal for someone who worked in a retail e-commerce environment, with experience working on digital measurement and reporting tools. This person will be expected to communicate at all levels, as well as having strong analytical skills.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be joining a fast paced, commercial environment, with the opportunity to work with key stakeholders within the business.
  • Define best practice approaches for analysing online user behaviour, configuring web analytics technology for interpreting data from digital marketing activities and campaigns
  • Track and monitor key digital marketing activities, evaluate their success and identify how they are contributing to the traffic growth.
  • Influence and justify campaigns results based on historical effectiveness metrics and Business Cases
  • Creation and maintenance of dashboards through web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Data Studio, Tableau or Datorama, with the ambition to automate all reporting across the business.
  • Ensure their teams are always receiving the most relevant data to inform business decisions.
  • Liaise with appointed external agencies who are supporting digital analytics.
  • Keep the team updated on market trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to present to the team.
Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar analytics role with knowledge and experience of ecommerce, preferably in retail.
  • Excellent communication skills [written and oral] with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to build credible relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.
  • A great communicator, who can contribute effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise workflow.
  • Self-motivated, problem solver and results oriented
  • Great knowledge of Google Analytics and other major reporting tools (Data Studio, Datorama, Tableau…) whilst monitoring KPIs and developing reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data
