About the role:
The Digital Recruitment Company are looking for an experienced B2B Marketing Events Manager to join a successful Employee wellbeing organisation. They have been pioneering the field of employee wellbeing and organisational performance since 2004, working with over 200 of the UK’s leading employers - from FTSE 100 companies to NHS Trusts. 
They are currently growing their marketing team, and are looking for a Marketing Events Manager who will report in to the Director of Marketing. They are looking for a professional, sociable, and highly organised person who will own and coordinate this company’s schedule of events. You’ll make sure all events are delivered to the highest standard and provide a great brand experience for their audiences, while generating the best return on investment for our business.
You’ll also be involved in associated marketing activities including event social media, graphic design projects, and supporting with broader marketing responsibilities.
Your role will initially be UK focused but will then develop internationally as the business growth strategy is implemented. You’ll work within a creative, supportive, and friendly team, and we’ll equip you with the skills, knowledge, and tools to succeed.
This is a remote role, with travel to meetings and events.
What will you be doing? 
Researching industry/speaker topics, competitor positioning at events etc and positioning in a way that makes us stand out from the crowd
Working with the Content Marketing Manager to commission content/themes, working with internal and external resources
Securing the best speakers, panellists, and industry experts to create the most value-add content for our audiences
Planning, coordinating, and attending a wide range of events, both online and in-person
Owning and reinventing our client user groups, webinars and sponsorships
Building our brand presence within the industry, generating leads, building our network, and creating further brand and marketing opportunities off the back of them
Ensuring clients, partners, prospects, and internal stakeholders have positive experiences at organised events
Making sure they are maximising marketing opportunities throughout the lead-up, at event and post-event
Working with the PR agency with event media relations and the marketing agency to generate face-to-face meetings
Posting and co-ordinating social media during events (supported by the agency)
Negotiating the best deal, managing the events budget, maximising ROI and reporting
Working with other team members to coordinate merchandise and marketing materials
Skills and Experience:
Experienced in organising a wide range of B2B events (online and in person)
Experience of managing internal and external stakeholder relationships and negotiating with 3rd party organisations
Excellent communication skills, in person, written, over the phone and via video call
Social media skills and knowledge (preferable)
Confident with event and social platforms, plus HubSpot would be an advantage
Highly organised, detail-orientated, and able to juggle different projects and deadlines
Confident and pragmatic with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
