I am seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, to join a high-profile digital healthcare provider. This is one of the world’s most trusted knowledge providers who have more than 50 million users from over 150 countries with access to their websites every year.
Their head office is in London, with more offices in China, India, North America, and Wales.

The Role
I am  looking for a Senior Marketing Manager for a newly created position to bring an inquisitive mindset to marketing and drive marketing campaign optimisation and effectiveness.

You should have a strong affinity to performance analysis across integrated campaigns that build from awareness right through to acquisition. It requires somebody with a strong commercial mindset, who enjoys working with people and teams and can both inspire and build confidence.
Reporting to the Head of Customer Marketing, you will influence direction and be at the forefront of the customer experience to ensure the customer is central to our plans, while monitoring and improving the effectiveness of our marketing activities. Stakeholder management is a key part of this role, both bringing together the product divisions as well as the customer groups, to truly understand ROI and effectiveness to drive the best decision making.
As a new role, you will need to be comfortable with defining ways of working and best practices. This may include training teams and identifying opportunities to continuously improve activities to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the company’s portfolio. You  will support regular evaluation of our marketing tools and resources, making sure we are set up for future growth.

What will you be doing?

  • Define and deliver the implementation of the measurement framework for Customer, Marketing and Digital performance
  • Oversee development of dashboards and standardised reports to provide ongoing insight to marketing stakeholders and work to ensure utilisation and adoption of reporting
  • Leads the creation and maintenance of appropriate marketing key performance indicators, ROI models, and predictive models for marketing campaigns to determine effectiveness, provide optimisation recommendations, and influence marketing campaign planning
  • Working with and evaluating campaign effectiveness within our marketing automation systems such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot and PeopleStage
  • Working in partnership with marketing teams to make strategic recommendations to improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics to inform future marketing campaign plans
  • Understanding marketing trends and channels that have increased demand generation and brand equity
  • Define a Customer Lifetime Value framework and reporting
Experience and skills

  • Extensive marketing analytics experience in a highly data-driven, analytical environment
  • Strong ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations and to translate business objectives into marketing goals and measurements
  • Strong relationship building skills with proven ability to successfully liaise with and influence a diverse set of internal stakeholders at all levels; in addition must be able to fluently interact with external stakeholders and suppliers
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex project and technical information simply and clearly
  • Experience in working with and implementing marketing analytic tools,  technology or automation software
  • Experience using Asana or similar goal, project and process management tools is desirable
