The Role:
The Social & Influence team oversees all social, content and influence output of the London office.
Combining account handlers, strategists, paid social and influence specialists and working alongside our research & analytics, creative and PR teams.
Working in the Social & Influence team, this role is responsible for running the day to day across at least two of the largest social clients, planning, buying, and managing paid activations to ensure client
excellence is delivered. This will involve leading and delivering best in class social planning and
optimisation on a selection of markets to maximise performance and budget utilisation in both new and existing client programs.
The key focus accounts for this role are recent wins for the team (spring/summer 2021). Having
rapidly developed in this time, there is plenty of scope to have a meaningful impact in shaping these
accounts. The Paid Social Account Manager will work across both project and retained pieces of business.
The Paid Social Account Manager will regularly oversee an Account Executive/Co-ordinator assisting in executing campaigns, and there will be scope to expand on this as the accounts grow with additional responsibilities.
Reporting into a Senior Account Director, you will be responsible for the day-to[1]day running of the account and allocated markets, ensuring campaigns launch on time, are optimised in
flight, meet expected KPIs and all reports are delivered to a high standard. The candidate will also be
involved in building relationships with internal stakeholders as well as client-side media teams and brand managers.
A key element of this role is client servicing, and in particular success in this role will come from
developing a solid working relationship with our mid-senior clients across the key accounts.
Day to day, this role will provide specialist paid social consultancy to the client team, as well as responsibility for ensuring that projects are delivered effectively, profitably and to deadline. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience within paid social; agency or client-side
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business/PR/Communications or related field preferred
- Solid grasp of tools Sprinklr (ideally), Sprout Social, Hootsuite or equivalent
- Experience running paid advertising campaigns on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,
- LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok and Reddit). Experience with native advertising sponsored
- content, programmatic, video distribution, Google, and YouTube ads a plus
- Successful track record of building and presenting strategic paid social programs,
- recommendations and tactics for clients and effectively executing programs across multi-markets
- Familiarity with the principles of common attribution models, understands the current industry
- challenges around measurement and can confidently articulate the limitations of third party
- measurement solutions for viewability and conversion tracking for paid social.
- Proactively develops own specialist area and help others to develop in parallel
- Show curiosity about latest industry developments and share knowledge with own specialist
- social & influence community, across the agency and with clients
- Ability to translate paid media platforms, technologies, and metrics into succinct, compelling,
- conversational language for a variety of audiences
- An individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working effectively with
- colleagues and clients across organisations and geographies
