Performance Marketing Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 plus package
Location: WFH until April/May 2021 – the 2/3 days a week

The Organisation:

Our client is a growing a creative agency, who bringing together marketing, entertainment, and technology to create things people want to spend time with – ideas that audiences will love and be entertained by. They have recently joined the world’s first BrandTech group, You & Mr Jones, which means they are now working with partners developing best technology across the globe
 
Role:
 
They are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to support their Head of Insight and Technology in working across a number of clients to deliver strategic recommendations on how to make brands create breakthrough work, regardless of the channel that is used. You will work with multiple cleints including Sainsburys, Footlocker, Netflix and more. This is a growing division within the agency and this role will play a pivotal part in that growth.
 
Responsibilities:
  •  
  • Planning and development of digital strategy to hit business goals
  • Driving social & digital campaigns from planning to execution and beyond to meet key performance metrics
  • Brief and steward the creative for performance marketing in social, display and other channels as is appropriate for the category and audience
  • Creating, co-ordinating and analysing all digital marketing with external channel-specialist agencies/freelancers, optimising performance and scaling growth
  • Planning and overseeing growth experiments from A/B testing in creative to landing page creation alongside designers or developers
  • Structured approach to optimising marketing activities across creative, media and audience to improve return on investment
  • Creating business cases for expansion into potential channels, countries and audience segments
  • Working with a data analyst to gain a better understand of our customer, using learnings to improve customer acquisition and profitable growth in revenue
  • Provide guidance on how martech can be used to scale video and digital asset production
  • Develop behavioural insights with our Insight Analyst and make recommendations for
  • messaging, creative and channel usage
  • Audit brand efforts in social, content, website, ecommerce, video and propose fixes and opportunities for creative solution
  • Stay close to platform representatives and bring the knowledge in-house.

Experience:
 
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, someone who can demonstrate great commercial and industry acumen and who has the ability and desire to work at both strategic and tactical levels.

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing and ecommerce
  • Significant experience in performance based marketing
  • Experience of mobile and social marketing apps
  • Excellent working knowledge of web analytics tools
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written and the ability to quickly build strong relationships
  • Ability to consolidate and analyse data from multiple sources
  • Working knowledge and abilities to derive insights from Google Analytics is advantageous
  • though not essential
