The Role:
They are looking for anEcommerce Manager Northern Europe (Maternity Cover) for the Tableware Division. Direct report to Managing Director UK and Senior Ecommerce Manager EMEA. Direct management of the Ecommerce Executive position.This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to develop in a successful, professional and challenging environment.
The Key Role Functions:
  • To manage all Ecommerce channels and grow ecommerce business in the UK and Northern Europe areas.
  • Responsible for the Ecommerce turnover in the UK and Nordics for all channels including own Eshop and External Ecommerce -e.g. Controlled Distribution, Key Accounts and E-Discounter.
  • Actively acquire new ecommerce customers including wholesale key accounts, controlled platforms, marketplaces, etc.
  • Work closely with the ecommerce team in Mettlach (Germany), ensuring channel and market are aligned at all times.
  • Responsible for UK, Norway and Sweden Eshops, liaising with HQ teams on all campaigns and promotional calendar.
  • Manage the relationships with all UK Ecommerce partners, build joint business plans and range strategies to ensure long term partnerships and that we grow the business together.
  • Hold monthly/quarterly business reviews with partners to discuss performance and ensure joint targets are met.
  • Execute and coordinate promotional campaigns on all external platforms.
  • Manage ranges and stock position for online concessions to ensure optimal performance and that best sellers are always appropriately stocked.
  • Liaise with partners on any marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness.
  • Manage monthly E-discounter campaigns.
  • Analyse performance across all channels, identify areas of improvement and action any opportunities to drive growth and exceed budget.
  • Work closely with UK and Nordics wholesale teams to ensure all retailer opportunities are maximized from an ecommerce perspective.
  • A background in Ecommerce environment is essential (ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience gained in a similar position).
  • Sales and Business Development/ Account Management/ Client Relationship experience.
  • University level qualification (or equivalent) within business and/or marketing.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience or knowledge of the market, competition, distribution and clients would be a plus.
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious KPI.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex sets of data.
  • Extensive Excel, Google Analytics knowledge is a must.
  • Confident, hard-working and self-motivated.
  • A relationship builder with excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop a technical understanding of our products.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven organisational skills, able to manage multiple deliverables.
