The Role:
Refining and building the agencies Influencer Marketing proposition, team and campaigns and selling to internal and external audiences, driving awareness, credibility and revenue for Influence Marketing. Ideally, you’re an Influencer yourself and if not, you’re a passionate follower of influencers across all social channels and platforms.

Responsibilities:
This is a strategic role and there are three areas of responsibility:

  1. Own the proposition– be the recognised ‘face’ of influencer for the agency, shaping and updating the businesses point of view as well as constantly ensuring the product, people and process is fit for purpose, credible and up-to-date in terms of profile, partners, talent, tech, innovation, legal and market expectation.
  2. Propose the proposition– internally to client teams to ensure they clearly understand the proposition, how to sell-in and how to buy and externally to prospects and the wider industry.
  3. Quality assurance – oversee all campaign planning and activation to ensure that we deliver the best results, effectively and efficiently within budget and timescales.
Client Service and Satisfaction: Lead the team in planning and executing Influence Marketing campaigns
  • Create and deliver inspiring and engaging IM training and development content for internal and external audiences, including clients, counselling on the most appropriate and effective ways to use IM
  • Work collaboratively with teams both in our home market and overseas
 
  • Support the team in delivering the brief by driving the quality and direction of the team on day to day basis.
 
Business Development:
  • Lead Thought Leadership for the agency externally and internally on Influencer Marketing, proactively updating clients on best practice Influencer Marketing and speaking at events and providing written opinion pieces, comment for your own and the businesses social channels
  • Proactively identify and drive opportunities to grow and expand our Influencer Relations work, specifically targeting media agencies as well as external opportunities.
 
 
Commercial and Financial Management:
  • Create and manage programme budgets
  • Negotiate and finalise with the client or account team on any budget adjustments and explore opportunities for additional projects
  • Provide accurate forecasts on accounts to ensure accurate future planning
 
 
Requirements:
 
  • Proven experience specifically leading influencer marketing across multiple channels, within an advertising, communications, marketing, or public relations environment
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders both internal and external
  • Experience planning and delivering campaigns
  • Keen interest in Influencer marketing
  • Able to lead both internal colleagues and external clients to creative social media solutions and ideas, and achieve sign-off on plans and concepts
  • Self-motivated, well organised and comfortable with balancing your love of creativity with client needs and deadlines
  • High quality communication skills (written and oral) for communicating your fantastic ideas internally and externally
  • Experience in planning, managing, and executing social media campaigns and initiatives
