They use design to inform, inspire and engage people, designing interactions that challenge and influence beliefs and behaviour
The Role:
Our clients are looking for a digitally focused individual to lead their digital offer, developing digital business from their existing client base as well as seeking and developing new digital business opportunities.
Our clients have a broad client base covering a diverse range of sectors from Charity to Pharmaceutical to Legal. Some relationships have been developed over the last 15 years; others are embryonic; based on a few weeks or months of initial interaction.
They seek a driven, entrepreneurial and charismatic consultant to help us continue to grow and develop their digital client relationships as well as support and mentor the rest of the client services team and creative teams about the impact that a digitally integrated approach will have on the business as a whole.
  • Champion digital as central to and enhances our offer within our core discipline areas:
  • Brand creation and corporate identity
  • Consumer packaging
  • Brand experience (B2B & B2C) including 3d environments
  • Corporate Reporting
  • Corporate stakeholder engagement
  • Can quickly define clear markets/products to sell
  • Can bring ideas to everything we do
  • Dynamic and passionate
  • Experience and gravitas
2. Business Development
  • Drive the digital aspect within our marketing and business development activity, making it innovative, focused and effective:
  • Lead activity and conversion
  • Develop the right tools to express the offer
  • Raise profile and build reputation
  • Can quickly co-market with the business development team
  • Can sell and open opportunities
  • Can focus on new markets (not just corporate)
  • Can contribute to/make the difference on a pitch
  • Will network (intra and extra Group) and create insight and thought leadership
3. Execution
  • Enhance our delivery model:
  • Ensure digital thinking is integrated across all teams
  • Identify if and how we ‘productize’ our offer
  • Embrace and advance rigorous partnerships for effective execution of solutions
  • Continue to develop the right mix of capabilities in-house across UX, design and development/ establish the right in-house team for front-end work
  • Develop partnerships and in-house skills
  • Sufficient technical knowledge for strategic decision-making
  • Good process management and quality control
  • Good cost control and comercial management
4. Strategy
  • Develop digital strategy that is broader than user and channel:
  • Connect digital strategy to content, messaging and brand strategy
  • Integrate consumer insights and B2C know-how
  • Focus on behaviour change and engagement
  • Strategic and creative thinker
  • Great inter-team management and influencer
  • B2B & B2C experience
Summary of key required skills and experience:
  • A thorough understanding of and passion for digital in the broadest context
  • Commercially astute and revenue generation focused
  • A business development driver
  • Significant experience working with large corporates in a branding, digital communications or new business role
  • Driven, entrepreneurial and demanding of standards
  • Ability to mentor others and be a digital evangelist
