The Company:

We are working with one of the UK’s leading travel brands who specialise in call to book holidays. With over 30 years’ experience, the brand is going through a new phase of digital development and in 2017-18 sent a record number of passengers on holiday. We are hiring exceptional candidates into the digital function and are looking for an experienced digital marketing manager to assist in our growth.

The Role:

We are looking for an analytical, experienced and data driven digital marketer to join the marketing teams with focus on acquisition channels. You will be charged with launching new marketing channels and consistently improving and optimizing our current online campaigns focusing on Paid Media such as Facebook and Instagram Social Ads, SEO, Search PPC (Adwords and Bing), Retargeting and improving performance on Meta channels like Tripadvisor and Trivago. Your role will focus on acquisition marketing.

The Responsibilities:

Working with the Group Marketing Director you will manage and set the budget by channel.

  • Report on a comprehensive list of KPIs and manage all paid channel roadmaps.
  • Analyse channel attribution to optimize ROI for marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the Head of Conversion on channel based conversion improvements.
  • Working closely with our SEO agency and help set the channel strategy.
  • Manage a small number of direct reports in PPC, Meta and Paid Social.
  • Manage agencies, vendor and partner relationships including Google.
  • Project manage systems integrations.
  • A/B test ads/messaging across channels.
  • Work with the brand manager to ensure campaign messaging and consistency across channels.

Candidate Profile & Attributes

  • Educated to degree level
  • 5 years + as a digital/acquisition manager in a well-known UK brand (travel preferable)
  • Highly organised and experienced team manager.
  • Google Analytics and Adwords certified
  • Comfortable working with data, preferable knowledge of SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of web tracking and attribution.
  • Experience of bidding tools, like Doubleclick, Marin or Kenshoo.
  • Strong practical knowledge of SEO and 2019 best practices.
  • Strong data management and manipulation skills, proficient in Excel.
