Digital Recruitment Company are currently with a global financial technology platform built to expand access to alternative investments and private market strategies. Our client also works with advisors, asset & wealth managers, private banks and fund managers that are looking to digitise their operations, providing private market technology strategies including turnkey white labelling options and bespoke technology solutions.
The Role:
This is a really amazing role with our client who are growing and going through some major investment. They are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager with a successful track record to drive revenue, user acquisition and brand awareness.
Description and Purpose:
- Keep execution plan and all marketing materials required updated, whilst ensuring the plan meets all necessary customer and company requirements and specifications
- Promote the company through digital marketing to increase the brand awareness and, in turn, help to increase sales
- Manage digital marketing content for internal and external projects to promote the company
- Initially help lead the communications and marketing department during a maternity leave (including line manager responsibilities for two junior/midlevel staff)
- Be a thought leader and ambassador for digitalisation and the benefits it brings for the private market industry
- Responsible for driving development and execution of acquisition strategies for the business/brand across all marketing channels
- Leads the development of digital prospecting and campaign strategies as well as the execution of outbound and inbound elements that support the business’s overall strategies and objectives
- In charge of developing new marketing leads through the conversion of onsite traffic through landing pages, calls-to-action, and lead generation content
- Managing budgets and campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment and efficient CAC
- Ensuring successful planning, execution, optimization for key traffic KPIs via paid, organic & own media channels
- Identifying and testing new channels to continue to meet or exceed established critical metrics
- Working closely with the management to share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback & present results
- Supporting colleagues across the globe to create digital campaigns and identify industry hooks and ideas for proactive communications output on a global basis (primarily with the sales and product teams)
- Working with third-party providers such as SEO firms to ensure a consistent messaging
Skills & Experience:
- Exceptional communication skills, both in written and verbal form, and can convey even the most complex concepts in a clear, concise, and easily understandable manner to senior stakeholders
- Ideally experience of working in B2B marketing within the financial services sector. Ideally at Manager level with at least experience of 5 years and demonstrate a passion for online marketing, particularly in PPC channels and Display
- Project management experience, especially in lead nurturing, email marketing, web analytics, and marketing automation
- Track record of driving revenue and user acquisition within the target audiences
- Ability to conduct data-driven tracking for campaign performance and providing insight to the senior management team and stakeholders
- Have strong analytical skills, with an ability to draw insights and analyse large data sets
- Display a commercially driven ability to work towards marketing metrics and determine and manage departmental budgetary allocations
- Preference for experience in or knowledge/interest of the wealth management industry
- An entrepreneurial approach and a flexible and approachable attitude
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure, especially when it comes to prioritising and meeting deadlines when working on multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, excellent problem-solving skills and strong business acumen
A suitable candidate for this position must also be proficient working with Ms Office/software, Google Analytics, AdWords tools and social media advertising platforms, for example, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. He/she will also be proficient in other online marketing channels and interactions such as CRM, SEO, and SEM.
