Company Information
This is your opportunity to carve a successful career with a rapidly growing digital transformation consultancy focused on the Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical sector. The company provides business consultancy services to international marketing and sales teams, and they are now looking to expand their UK team with several permanent hires over the next 12 – 18 months. 
This is a for an ambitious consultant to shape and grow a business without the regimented hierarchical structures that exist in traditional firms. In particular, there are two strategic endeavours due to complete in Q4 2022:
  • This company has been approached by a $MM business, part of a $Bn Group, to form a strategic alliance across all growth accounts (via their Global Life Science and Global Consulting Lead)
  • They are in discussion with 2 candidates who have expressed interest in a NED role (ex-UK CEO plus International SVP strategy from top tier firms).
The successful candidate will be at the forefront of all strategic partnerships and client business, offering an accelerated career trajectory and eligibility for equity offerings targeted 2025.
The Role
Consultants are an important and central design team in our business. While each day is different, consultants work is embedded into client teams to help them unpack customer challenges as business opportunities. Consultants have unpresented access to enterprise strategy, plans, technology, and data to analyse, design and implement a variety of solutions that measurable increase advance our clients’ commercial performance.
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple clients, business units, brands, and geographies to tackle complex problems in response to the advancement of new digital technologies and consumer trends. Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Research and identify relevant digital trends that can inform and impact disruptive transformations within a company or industry
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary and executive teams to using both analytical and creative techniques to create novel insights and opportunities for our clients
  • Develop deep understanding of our client’s customers through advanced quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • Author and voice original ideas and recommendations to advance commercial performance across our client’s business
  • Lead and contribute towards to the growth and success of the core business services that includes business consultancy, creative production, and a new software product presently in stealth-mode.
  • Originate and support new business initiatives by designing recommended thought leadership, point-of-views and supporting the company’s core value proposition
  • Design and lead the development of the culture to include important investments Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) and oversee a B-Corp accreditation.
Hard Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business Administration, Marketing or Life Sciences discipline
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word & Excel
  • Experience with digital channels, performance marketing or B2B/B2C environment is preferred
Soft skills
  • Clear communicator able to articulate complex topics simply
  • A creative problem solver able to unpack challenges from multiple dimensions
  • Analytical mindset able to formulate robust evidence-based recommendations
  • Empathetic listener able to forge trusted relationships with client teams
  • An active and demonstrable interest in the Life Sciences or Digital Transformation of commercial business
