The Role:
Reporting directly to the NEUR Head of Market Management, this role is responsible for driving the success of the below disciplines for the Northern Europe region.
Responsibilities
Content:- Leading local teams across the 14 countries to create engaging, intelligent and concise content for our audience & external channels, breaking down content & team silos and helping to structure the regional leadership function. Fostering a collaborative community across NEUR, sharing best practice, expertise and harnessing talent.
- Developing content strategy that becomes the bedrock of all lead nurturing funnels to generate qualified inbound leads across each marketplace, as well as promote overall visibility and attitude towards our clients product. Working with Group and local teams to ensure the content is localised, relevant to NEUR audiences and adopted across the Region.
- Using content as a churn reducer from understanding the audience: Who they are, Where they are, What they want and How to get in front of them.
- Defining and managing the NEUR content calendar and Editorial Committee for each country, bringing wider teams into the committee discussions including Commercial Underwriting, Risk and Economists from other regions.
- Managing the adoption and roll-out of the Highspot Content Management/Sales Enablement tool across the region
- Guarding our client’s tone-of-voice and brand guidelines across all content produced and distributed.
Our client has substantial growth potential in its existing social media presence and visibility. This role will be responsible for leading the social media strategy across the NEUR region in organic and paid channels for increasing brand awareness, sales leads, customer engagement and company promotion:- Define the regional social media strategy across all channels, guiding the local teams to create country specific social media strategy. Fostering a collaborative community across NEUR, setting ambitious growth targets and sharing best practices and tips to achieve these.
- Cross the social strategy with Brand and Content in-mind to incorporate creative social media solutions into overall brand campaigns.
- Ensure all social media is on brand from a creative and tone of voice, by applying group guidance on each channel.
- Agree, report and pull together KPI’s for social media across the group, ensure that performance is reviewed and optimised.
- Define user journeys on our social channels and ensure we apply best practices.
- Ownership of social tools and listening platforms for the region.
- Work alongside the insights team to apply customer insights into the overall strategy.
- Use social as a PR launchpad to brief and execute effective Influencer campaigns and content projects.
- Coordinate with teams to use tools such as Hootsuite and Talkwater to monitor and manage the social universe for NEUR
Brand – Maintaining and promoting the new brand across NEUR for visibility and consistency throughout the marketplace. Coordinating the timely delivery of a Rebrand project across the region.- Leading the teams for brand awareness campaigns across all 17 languages/15 countries using both Group sourced collateral and locally produced assets for the overall brand success.
- Delivering specific Brand projects, with a business-wide reach, affecting all employees and working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- The role will protect and kept consistent (through governance) the new brand across NEUR and in all public and internal comms channels.
- Work closely with local teams across the business to effectively tell the story of our brand publically and the people behind them for increasing brand visibility and awareness of the product.
- Identifying emerging issues and positive story opportunities within key areas of the business and project managing and delivering key projects and campaigns.
- Secure targeted press coverage through innovative stories and delivering regular brand and product news and identify positioning PR opportunities on a real time and ongoing basis and ensure these are leveraged and become part of market communications plan and activity.
- Work with local teams to use media channels to distribute and engage with exciting/thought-provoking content for sales success
- Be the overseer of all campaigns across the region in each Marketing team documenting and reporting on successes. Support in producing and coordinating crisis communications and frameworks (including Covid-19, Government Scheme wind-downs, Risk Actions)
- Together with the Regional Head of Marketing be the guiding hand on best practices, messaging, user journey planning & testing, attribution reporting and audience understanding.
- Combining the content and social responsibilities to structure campaigns per BU that have maximum chance of sales success and customer retention opportunities.
- Conduct research (internal interviews/desk research) about digital content topics -> be an external voice of the business. Manage analytics and establish benchmarks for our performance across all channels.
You will need to be a self-starter, passionate and well organised. You will have extensive experience of creating excitement and energy around engaging content and copy, ideally within the financial services industry. An experienced marketer who wants to take ownership of a key function of a large org being visible to the Group HQ and the board. You will want be part of an exciting team with lofty goals, reporting into and working alongside our Head of Market Management to deliver the content-led marketing, social and PR strategy.
You will be passionate about building relationships, comfortable with travel, have excellent attention to detail and will be able to confidently communicate with colleagues or clients.- Strong experience in a content marketing, social media and strategy related position.
- Ability to manage your own project timelines, prioritise well and manage up.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable being client facing at times.
- Fantastic written skills and attention to detail with history of written collateral.
- Experience as a content creator and marketer in a digital agency or equivalent.
- Holistic campaign management crossing the omnichannel through audience understanding.
- Delivered campaigns through different social media channels with measurable outcomes.
- Experience with all core social platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
