A UK’s leading charity for everyone’s mental health. They are with a mental health organisation which has organisednationally for more than 20 years. They have been on the front line of the coronavirus crisis – carrying out research into the impact on mental health and informing the response. With prevention at the heart of what they do, they aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.
Role:
This exciting Head of Digital role will be instrumental in developing and implementing the Foundation’s digital strategy and digital transformation roadmap. This will include driving the adoption of new digital tools, technology and ways of working across the entire Foundation, as well as managing a passionate and driven digital team. The role will be responsible for overseeing all digital platforms, preparing regular reports on performance and key metrics to assess and optimise the effectiveness of these channels and play a key role in managing and shaping budgets.

What does the role involve?- Developing and implementing the digital strategy and roadmap. These strategies will support and drive communication and income generation across the organisation.
- Putting in place robust reporting and analysis to help drive greater understanding and awareness of digital activities across the organisation. Identifying opportunities and options to exploit digital engagement and communicate these to senior management and Board of Trustees.
- Play a key role in budgeting and reforecasting of income via digital engagement across all income streams. Highlighting the needs for investment in digital to deliver growth and embrace new technology to support income generation.
- Forge positive cross-organisation relationships to secure buy-in and embed digital thinking across the Foundation. Developing and implementing integrated digital engagement strategies ensuring collaboration across teams to maximise cross-selling of opportunities, increase income and communication.
- Work in close collaboration with the Associate Director of Media & Communications and Director of Fundraising and Communication on key performance indicators, targets and planning.
Experience:
- A strong track record of implementing digital strategies which drive income and audience growth.
- Proven leader with demonstrated experience using a coaching and collaborative approach to managing teams and stakeholders.
- Experience of introducing agile methods into an organisation, either in a digital project context or as a way of working for a non-technical team.
- Strong analysis capability and experience interpreting data, drafting complex reports and communicating outcomes/recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong operational management experience including budgets, resource allocation, timelines and priorities.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 27 after 5 years’ service
