We are currently working withone of the largest global restaurant groups, who are at an exciting and pivotal time for the brand. This role has the opportunity to influence real business change and help set up as a brand of the future. 

The Role:

Our client is looking to bring on board a talented and ambitious Marketing Partnerships Manager. They want someone who not only has a passion for the brand but has a real passion for marketing and delivering winning results. As Marketing Partnerships Manager, you will report directly to the Marketing Manager as part of a team that includes brand & category growth, national advertising, new digital channels and customer insights. This is a Mark Ritson meets Steve Jobs type of role, bringing the best of marketing practices to a new dynamic digital channel in home delivery.

The Key Role Functions:

  • Be the strategic and commercial business owner to deliver a marketing strategy that super-charges transactions to their restaurants through home delivery.
  • Identify the opportunities to increase penetration and grow revenueon Delivery, the fastest growing channel for QSR, through a pipeline of core activations, limited time offers and value plays. 
  • Build strong relationships with their aggregator partners (Just Eat, Deliveroo, Uber Eats) to understand their brand and business objectives and identify how the company can partner with them to win. Collaborate to build a Joint Business Plan geared to grow both brands and win guests.
  • Build strong relationships with their Executive Management Team and Franchise owners to drive and implement the channel growth plan.
  • Lead a cross functional squad across product development, commercial finance and restaurant operations to deliver the brand strategy for the channel. 
  • Build the right menu architecture that is fit for the channel to ensure they deliver hot, fresh food to their guests every time. Work with the Digital Technology team to build the right e-commerce approach to provide their guests with a seamless order journey.
  • Champion a test-and-learn mindset in growing the channel, leveraging data to optimise offer and experience
  • Lead key national campaigns from defining phase all the way to execution – to get the UK to crave their food whenever, wherever. Have the opportunity to work and manage world-class and award-winning creative agency partners, such as Mother London. From TV to POS, we’re looking for a someone who wants accountability, can manage the full marketing mix and have a lot of fun with this!

Key Skills/Experience: 
 
  • This position requires a real passion for brand strategy, strong commercial acumen, and even stronger partnership skills. 
  • You will need a growth mindset that allows the brand to disrupt category conventions and to be prepared to test and learn, fail and try again until we ultimately succeed in making it a no-brainer to come this brand. You’ll be connecting the dots in fresh ways to make amazing things happen. This is a new channel for the QSR industry and constantly changing, we need a pioneer to help cement the brands leadership in delivery.
  • This position combines creative thinking, strong commercial acumen, passion for food and focused action driving to set the company up for further transformational growth over the next 24 months and towards our 2022 vision.
  • You will have worked on retailing with e-commerce and are well-versed in driving business performance in this channel. You would also have demonstrable experience working with customers and trade partners, and are familiar with building joint business plans.
  • You have the ability to cut through the jargon and speak fluent “consumer” but with their brand and menu vision at the very heart of your ideas will be a real benefit.  
  • You possess strong collaboration skills are able to work in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
  • You’ll have worked your way up the marketing ladder, working on big brand building and commercial initiatives and you will now ideally be looking to take that next step.
  • An experience working with Delivery aggregators is also a plus.
