The Organisation:

The Digital Recruitment Company is working exclusively with one of the UK’s largest healthcare providers looking to build the digital division of its high-end healthcare provision.

The Role:

  • To champion and lead the creation of the digital strategy throughout the Group working with the Commercial Team, Group CIO, Group COO and their respective teams to implement and deploy
  • To drive digital as the channel of choice for new patients and current patients looking to investigate consultants, treatments and hospitals together with managing and tracking their treatment progress
  • Take full responsibility for all digital channels covering user experience, look and feel and content to make the destination of choice, increase web traffic volume, stickiness and conversion to leads and enquiries
  • To lead and develop the digital marketing team to ensure that they support and lead the digital agenda, deliver best in class digital customer experience and drive digital marketing innovation in the business

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the digital strategy for Healthcare to deliver a market leading web/mobile capability, digital customer journey, digital marketing and social media strategy
  • Develop and deliver the digital marketing plan to achieve the business targets for on-line traffic and converted enquiries in line with business budget and targets,
  • Monitor performance of Marketing KPI’s on-going, identify areas requiring intervention, propose and measure desired impact on AOP
  • Develop the Digital Dashboard & Marketing KPI’s that measure performance, success and track improvement. These need to form the basis of team performance management and reporting up to the Exec
  • Develop and implement a digital CRM strategy to optimise revenue opportunities through all customer segments and touchpoints and delivers a fully integrated self-serve and on/off-line journey
  • Develop a leading edge analytical, test and learn culture to support optimisation of the website and effectiveness of digital marketing and direct response marketing plans
  • Lead and develop the digital team (3 FTE) and digital marketing agencies where appropriate
  • Implement and monitor the compliance of the Brand and all digital channels to current clinical governance and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities to harness future development of digital technology and marketing techniques and inspire the organisation with those possibilities to help inform the wider business strategy
  • Develop approach and methodology to manage, measure and score the customer journey and user experience
  • Work with the CIO and his team to ensure that the current technical platform, support agreements and development roadmap support current and future digital performance levels and objectives
  • Manage digital budgets and budgets allocated by internal clients
 
Specific Skills:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of knowledge and experience in Digital and Digital Marketing, with a deep understanding of Best practices in PPC, SEO, Affiliates ad Email marketing techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing a digital strategy that includes launching and developing a new web-site, growing its capability and sophistication and integrating this into a holistic overall digital and marketing strategy
  •  Strong commercial acumen combined with a deep understanding of how to optimise the acquisition and conversion of website traffic into leads and enquiries through continuous optimisation of the customer journey. P&L eCommerce experience will be beneficial from either a Retail, Insurance or Travel Business
  • All-round Digital Marketeer who understands the true value of both online and offline marketing and how they work hand in hand to deliver leads. Able to help shape a holistic approach to the marketing strategy enabling them to build strong lines of communication and relationships with others in the marketing team 
  • In depth of knowledge and understanding around natural search and what drives sustainable leading SEO essential
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with a deep understanding of how to optimise the acquisition and conversion of website traffic into leads and enquiries through continuous optimisation of the customer journey. P&L eCommerce experience will be beneficial from either a Retail or Insurance business
  • Experience of building, developing and managing high performing teams
