The Organisation:
The Digital Recruitment Company is working with an advisory that help media and information entrepreneurs to scale up and create value in their businesses.
Their team of experienced media leaders delivers high quality advice and support through structured multi-year programmes focusing on strategy, planning, product development, sales, marketing, customer success and finance.- They are media and information specialists, with experience in subscriptions memberships, marketing services, publishing and events - both b2b and b2c.
- They are dedicated to entrepreneurs, never acting for corporates or private equity firms
- They are active supporters of the Founder community:
- hosting a global Media Entrepreneur Meetup with over 500 members
- serving Insights, delivered through roundtables, webinars and articles year-round
The Role:
We are looking for an Events Practice Leader to help grow global conference and tradeshow market share with a primary focus on the US and UK market.
Our Practice Leader roles lead the drive to develop best in class IP and products, win, develop and retain a global talent pool, grow existing clients whilst strategically winning new and evolve to a higher value client mix. This role plays an important role in enabling the business to accelerate growth in revenue, profits and create greater value for our clients, and team.
Experience
You will:- Have held CEO or MD roles, managing £10m+ P&L, or
- Be a successful entrepreneur who has scaled a media business to exit, and,
- Have deep knowledge of one or more of; events, marketing services, memberships, or subscription based business models

Package- £130-150k pro rata
- Bonus structure
- 3+ days per week
