The Role:
The Senior Digital & Design Executive supports the Head of Clients, Data, and Digital Marketing in the delivery of the firm’s overall digital strategy, taking lead responsibility in some areas to ensure the successful outcome of digital initiatives. They will maintain the website and drive social media initiatives and oversee the use of online direct marketing tools as well as report on digital campaigns and effectiveness as required to support the Business Development function of the BD & Marketing team. They will ensure all digital marketing activity is compliant with marketing regulations and data protection legislation.
The Senior Digital & Design Executive will also take responsibility for acting as gatekeeper to the firms’ brand, monitoring its use across collateral and digital channels. They will work alongside the Head of Marketing Communications to contribute to the process of design for new collateral as well as ensuring new and existing content adheres to guidelines and best practice, utilising the skills of external resources as appropriate.
Responsibilities:- Maintain and be a point of contact for content relating to the website, creating, collating and uploading.
- Manage and maintain the firm brand across all collateral physical and digital
- Manage and maintain the firm brand across all digital channels
- Manage and administer the firm’s digital image and media library with appropriate licensing,
- Support the BD&M team and wider firm in sourcing brand appropriate imagery for use across collateral, digital channels. Administering any image licencing accounts for external providers
- Use design skills to support Business Development with the creation of collateral
- Act as a point of contact with external agencies, for design, digital and SEO related activity
- Create and manage marketing design templates in available tools such as Canva, Flowpaper, Adobe Creative Suite, Concep plus others as appropriate
- Be aware of and ensure compliance with GDPR and PECR
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns, including advising, monitoring and reporting on spend as appropriate, as well as management of invoices/billing, advising on the appropriate channel for maximum ROI
- Support the Head of Digital in managing and maintaining the systems for the firm’s website, liaising with external developers to ensure the evolution of the website is in line with best practice and meets the needs of the firm
- Provide web analytics to improve and develop content and usage as well as track and report visitor trends to the online platforms
- Provide reports on digital campaigns and support BD team on production of reports and dashboards as required to ensure objectives are being met
- To manage and proactively drive and occasionally write content for our key online platforms; website, Twitter, LinkedIn, working with the communications team as required for best effect
- Support the firm’s social media strategy across all relevant channels
- Lead the training and advice to others in the firm on best use of social media and appropriate monitoring tools to maximise their content production efforts
- Uphold and ensure compliance with the firm’s social media policy, ensuring best practice
- Co-ordinate web content with BD and External Communications teams, advising on SEO strategy and page optimisation
- Lead the production of podcasts, webinars and video content for the firm. Supporting the BD team with best practice advice on format, structure and output. Perform related editing tasks when required
- Provide training to others on best use of digital tools, application of brand, and email marketing
- Work collaboratively with BD team consulting and advising on appropriate activity as required
- Work collaboratively with other support teams such as HR, Finance, and IT
- Lead the employee photo programme. Organise and manage the process from taking headshots through to production and distribution, ensuring they are of appropriate quality and can be used for multiple applications and are available for use on the appropriate internal and external systems
- Support the firm’s responsible business groups with any digital and design requests that may arise
