Senior Account Manager, Sports PR

The Digital Recruitment Company are delighted to be recruiting for a globally focused, full‐service sports marketing agency covering consulting, marketing communications, PR, media, events, and research. Based in London they provide enhanced full-service capabilities to respond to existing and new clients’ future needs in global sports marketing.
Role:
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager with specialist motorsports experience to join its sports PR and marketing team. The Senior Account Manager will combine working from their London office, in the heart of central London, as well as remote working.
This will be a very hands-on role, working across a range of sports-related clients and event accounts, within a growing team of twelve. They have a range of high-profile brand and event accounts, including golf, rowing, rugby, motorsports, tennis, and equestrianism.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working across multiple sports PR and sponsorship accounts, with a passion for motorsports, and have excellent client service and campaign management skills.
Candidate Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum 4+ years’ experience gained within an agency background in sport/PR. Successful candidates will love sport and be digitally savvy across social and digital platforms. Ideally the candidate will have developed an impressive list of media and influencer contacts in the motorsport and wider sport and lifestyle industry across traditional, digital, and social media.

- Interest in fashion, lifestyle, and luxury media a bonus
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple client accounts ensuring a consistently high-level of service
- Proactively identify creative solutions to help clients achieve their overall objectives
- Generate engaging content across a range of digital platforms
- Deliver excellent media relations on behalf of the client, pitching content and selling it in
- Supervise the work of more junior team members
- Writing blogs, articles and posts that are appealing and engaging
