The Organisation:
Digital Careers, part of the Digital Recruitment Company is currently working with One of the UK’s leading provider of value holiday packages at affordable prices. They are looking to strengthen its dynamic team with the appointment of a Head of Conversion, this is an opportunity to join a fast growing and innovative business.
The Role:  
As the Head of Conversion you will be responsible for the user journey and improving the onsite and app conversion rate. They are looking for an ambitious conversion/ux professional who lives and breathes user experience, keeps up to date with the latest devices and best practices in UX, has a few years’ experience in using a CRO and can identify gaps in performance using tools and employ creative solutions to improve overall conversion rate.
The responsibilities of the role:
  • To own the conversion rate metric across the business and ensure the daily conversion rate target is being hit.
  • To track and interpret user behaviour on the site using site analytics and use the data to create hypothesis for user testing.
  • Identify new conversion opportunities across the site to enhance commercial returns.
  • Work with Product Development, content and marketing teams to enhance user experience including site navigation, content development, purchase funnel and promotional campaigns.
  • Work with Creative & UX Designer to implement best practice for conversion.
  • Identify & test new technologies and practices to improve conversion rate performance, free growth, consumer engagement, delivery against key metrics.
  • Ensure a unified and “on-brand” experience across devices and app.
  • Feed insight into the Commercial, acquisition and retention marketing functions to build deals and offers to drive performance.
  • Create user A/B & Split tests using tools such as Optimizly/Maxymiser, & web trends and monitor results – adopting best practice.
  • Provide business intelligence to empower Management across other trading functions to make better decisions effecting sale conversion.
  • Educated to degree level
  • 2-3 years’ experience in digital analytics & Data /Insights
  • Highly motivated individual that wants to work as part of a growing digital business.
  • Excellent knowledge of how to manage CRO programs (2-3 years’ experience)
  • Highly analytical, with experience in using enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Comfortable using data to develop commercial insights
  • Commercially astute and analytical & process first thinker with a rigorous problem solving approach grounded in data analysis
  • Clear and confident communication skills and the ability to influence peers and senior management
  • Previous Travel or Retail experience preferred          
  • Technical Skills - Jquery, Javascript, Data-Mining and Excel
