The Role:
We are looking for a Account Director to work on of the agencies key clients within Asset Management & Not-For-Profit
Reporting directly to Head of Client Services and working closely with a Managing Partner, the Senior Account Directors main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)
  • Managing relationships with two of our largest global clients, which will include liaising and continuously building relationships with the clients central and local marketing teams
  • Managing major integrated campaign activity from strategy through to production
  • Working with the Senior Management Team to maximise commercial opportunities
  • Working within the New Business Team on specific pitches
  • Managing Account Managers as appropriate - overseeing workload and career development
  • You will need to have a solid understanding of the brand development/ design process through your working experience.
  • Experience of working with creative and production teams to ensure they understand what’s needed, when it’s needed and that they arrive at the optimum solution in each case.
  • You’ll need to be personable and positive and be able to work with different clients.
  • You will have responsibility for client satisfaction along with people in account handling.
  • You’ll help manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis, setting agendas, organising internal/external meetings, responding to issues that arise as part of the project process.
  • You’ll have financial management and systems skills and have an ability to run accounts profitably, including accurate estimating, forecasting, invoicing and monitoring of profitability, along with the people you report to.
  • You’ll be working closely with teams to deliver projects but will still need to take ownership and responsibility for parts of projects you’re responsible for. Being proactive and wanting to get involved are important.
  • You’ll need to plan and to help write cost proposals; and be commercially minded so that if project scope changes, you’ll know to update the budgets.
  • You’ll be able to create and manage accurate project budgets; and sort out with the team the resources that are needed.
  • You need to love the detail and have a good eye for spotting mistakes.
  • Your grammar and written English will be impeccable. You’ll pride yourself on checking work (both your own and your colleagues’) before it’s sent to the client.
  • At the same time, you will need to contribute to the agency – systems, new business, ideas, enthusiasm etc…
