The Role
The Marketing Manager - ESG and Climate Education is a global role focused on driving marketing strategies and initiatives for our clients’ educational offerings in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and Climate space. This position requires deep marketing expertise in customer and product strategy development to effectively identify target audiences, gather market requirements, and align product strategies with customer needs. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product, to ensure successful product launches, drive revenue growth, and achieve marketing objectives. This hands-on role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for sustainability and education.
Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:- Gather, document, and update market requirements related to ESG and Climate education.
- Conduct market research, analysis, and segmentation to identify target audiences and develop customer personas.
- Utilize customer insights and market analysis to influence product decisions and represent the voice of the customer internally.
- Develop impactful messaging and communications through research and qualitative feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including positioning, value proposition communication, and launch strategies.
Product Marketing Execution:- Manage the product positioning, messaging, and value proposition for ESG and Climate educational offerings.
- Create compelling marketing content, including digital assets and sales enablement materials.
- Develop and maintain product marketing roadmaps to guide marketing campaigns and programs.
- Work closely with marketing teams and supporting agencies to design and execute relevant digital and event-based campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance, optimize strategies, and ensure they align with revenue, growth, and ROI goals.
- Continuously experiment and iterate to increase product adoption and understand the voice of the customer.
- Provide training to customer-facing teams to ensure proper utilization of materials and messaging consistency.
Collaboration and Communication:- Collaborate with sales and product teams to deliver well-received product/feature launches that meet business objectives.
- Support business case development for product enhancements, leveraging insights on segmentation, targeting, and product positioning.
- Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders, effectively conveying market requirements and product strategies.
- Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills.
- Exhibit strong project management skills and flexibility in managing competing priorities and changing expectations.
- Foster strong cultural compatibility, aligning with our clients key and unique global leadership competencies.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing, preferably with a focus on product marketing.
- Product Management or Marketing certification preferred (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Product Focus, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and experience in market research, analysis, and strategy development.
- Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of additional languages would be useful.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Passion for sustainability and a deep understanding of ESG and Climate topics.
- Demonstrated cultural compatibility and alignment with global leadership competencies.
