The Digital Recruitment Company are working with a sustainability-led investment management firm, that sets its investment strategies in the context of the long-term trends shaping society and the planet, this is an ambitious and dynamic group that is evolving brand and storytelling narrative, pushing its marketing platforms and finding innovative new ways to reach investors of all kinds, around the world.
The Division
The marketing is a centralised, global function of the business based in London with responsibility for the development and promotion of the group, along with its range of funds, trusts and investment products across three business divisions. The central team is led by the global Marketing Director who reports into the Executive Committee and currently consists of seven people with additional local marketing coordination in Australia, Madrid and Rome. Various external agencies work with the team on corporate communications, pr, web and digital design, and video production.

The Role
This is a unique opportunity to join the company to help evolve its position as a sustainability-led investment manager, committed to driving the global sustainability transition. This includes traditional renewable energy, other forms of energy infrastructure required to catalyse the transition to low-carbon power systems, and, more broadly, economy-wide decarbonisation of sectors such as industry, transport, and agriculture. In addition to physical infrastructure we invest in natural capital – in particular in forests and soil – in order to assist the recovery of nature and rehabilitation of ecosystems.
As a Senior Marketing Executive, reporting to a Senior Marketing Manager, you will drive activities that build awareness and interest for the investment funds that support the sustainability transition. You will work closely with our infrastructure and sustainability divisions, along with strategic partners.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Investment Management and Investor Relations teams to create all forms of marketing content to promote infrastructure funds and industry leading sustainable business practices
- Develop strategies and campaign plans to promote infrastructure funds and sustainability themed content across marketing platforms (web, social, podcast, video platforms)
- Coordinate investor events to promote infrastructure fund launches, thought leadership and investment strategies in locations around the world
- Support in developing the strategy and taking the lead on the execution of all marketing activities that support partnership.
- Coordinate local marketing activities in global markets – APAC, EMEA, US
- Identify trends and insights and stay up to date with digital technology developments, testing new tools and technologies to engage institutional and retail audiences online
- Design and manage content updates within the CMS (Umbraco) – text, documents etc and support in optimising website to maximise user engagement
- Measure and report on performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess these against lead-gen goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Work with governance and compliance teams to ensure rigorous evaluation of materials to ensure standards are met and enforced across the team
Competencies:- Creative aptitude for writing and designing marketing content to raise awareness and profile of a brand to B2B audiences (knowledge of institutional and retail investor audiences not essential but preferred)
- Ability to design and coordinate production of video and audio content with agency suppliers
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Excellent Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) skills
- A results and action orientated approach; ability to drive projects through to completion delivering clearly defined results or impact

- Confident in communicating and presenting to senior management
- Confident in liaising with externals, such as strategic partners, journalists, PR/media agencies and Placement Agents (from time to time)
- Self-starter, motivated to learn and comfortable with identifying and executing on new areas of opportunity
- Experience juggling multiple projectsand deadlines simultaneously
Qualifications and Experience Required:- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the marketing communications industry, ideally in an agency and preferably with experience of working in the Infrastructure / Renewables sector. Understanding of asset management, infrastructure funds and investment trusts not essential, but preferred
- Experience of working in sustainability focused sector with strong interest in renewable energy and regenerative/controlled agricultural sectors and emerging technologies to restore biodiversity and support nature recovery
- Experience in designing and project managing investor conferences and events i.e. for thought leadership, product launches and investor days
- Experience in strategically defining and building creative assets for content distribution (i.e. video, display)
- Experience in the design and production of investor literature in digital and print formats
- Educated to degree level (desirable but not essential)
- CIM or other qualifications (desirable but not essential)
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Experience and flare for using graphic and video advertising creation tools
