The Role:
Our client are seeking to build their Project Management team. They’re looking for an exceptional Project Manager to help shape ways of working and process.
Within this role, you will work alongside the senior leadership team to ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects. Many of which will be technology and software oriented. You will help to manage project resources, deadlines and constraints while actively participating in the resource allocation processes. The ideal person will be a confident and experienced leader who can motivate, mentor, and drive a team to successful project execution. You will regularly communicate updates on project status with the in-house team and external stakeholders, manage risks and issues and monitor quality of output to ensure that the project meets the brief to the highest standard.
Your Responsibilities:- Determine and define project scope and objectives.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Coordinate team agile planning activities including release planning, sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Demonstrate a commitment to our clients professional standards in managing analysis and in communications with clients.
- Self-motivated and experienced operating in a rapidly changing work environment.
- Working closely and extensively with software development teams.
- The ability to see the "big picture”, leveraging our resources to address key business challenges.
- Ability to work across high performing cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, solution-oriented and resourceful team player.
- Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in thinking strategically and creatively about complicated issues, creating validated logical and rational conclusions and action plans.
- Experience of working with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Hands on Azure DevOp's experience.
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of project management and related experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
