The Organisation/Role:
Our client is building the world’s first regulated payments curation layer. By consolidating best-in-class payments infrastructure under their ecosystem, they will enable marketplaces and eCommerce brands to scale their payments operations smoothly around the world. They have just closed their Series A founding round and looking to develop their marketing activities with this being the first Marketing hire! This is a great opportunity to join a growing company at the beginning of their journey and make an impact in their marketing activities.
Main duties and responsibilities:- Together with other stakeholders, you will develop a go-to-market strategy that focuses on the core target segments and objectives that ensure the business meets its new customer acquisition and revenue targets.
- Develop and adjust core value proposition, company positioning, product narratives and messaging, and then translate it into key Marketing and Sales collaterals: web copy, sales collateral, including sales decks and one-pagers, social media, blogs, award submissions etc. Always ensuring content is informative, on brand, and of benefit to the reader.
- Perform competitive analysis to ensure a thorough understanding of the market landscape and differentiation,
- Plan, develop, and execute demand generation campaigns that support the sales team.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage field marketing including trade shows, conferences, webinars etc.
- Oversee social media, building our presence across LinkedIn and Twitter. Help to create a community.
- Collaborating with the executive team/ sales team to drive campaigns that deliver meaningful results across the marketing and sales funnel
- Measuring and sharing the results of all marketing campaigns - analysing and reporting on all activity to ensure we can make data-driven, informed decisions.
- Sourcing and managing relevant agency partners (design agency, PR firm etc) to ensure the timely delivery of all marketing activities
Essential:- 7+ years of marketing experience
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in Payments/ FinTech/ Financial Services (B2B experience highly preferred)
- Are experienced in building and implementing a Marketing strategy
- Have experience in content creation (ability to show a sample of work desirable)
- Have experience in Product Marketing
- Are able to take a data-driven approach to marketing. Analysing and spotting trends to make informed decisions so that we are constantly testing, tweaking, and evolving.
- Are a results-focused individual with excellent time management, and a track record of hitting targets and deadlines
- Are someone who thinks strategically, outside of the box, and sees the bigger picture.
- Are someone who is willing to get stuck in, get their hands dirty, and lead from the front.
- Are someone who is comfortable with ambiguity - who can figure things out, take ownership and make decisions.
