SEO Analyst – German

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: up to £60,000 and package

Location: Reading + WFH 3/4 days a week

DRC are working with a highly successful retail business who are expanding their Digital marketing team and you will have the opportunity to be a part of this inspiring and talented new team whilst working in a brand-new role.  

The Role:

As the SEO Analyst- German Speaker, you will be responsible for analysing the content of the German website, identifying gaps and optimising pages for better search results. This includes identifying marketing opportunities and making recommendations to increase website traffic. To be eligible for this role, you must have prior experience in a similar position, and be comfortable with content writing. This position is only open to native German speaker

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the SEO Manager in driving the SEO roadmap, prioritising key activities as needed.
  • Work closely with the SEO Manager, digital trading, content and web production teams to ensure the website is fully optimised for SEO and the right content is being created to drive SEO projects.
  • Write and optimise commercial and inspirational content to support brand campaigns, increase visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Managing store listings through a third-party platform
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis.
  • Perform audits, analysis, and reporting on issues/opportunities across the sites.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to grow online channels through new SEO projects

Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years’ B2C SEO Experience, ideally within the digital/retail space
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console as well as SEO tools such as Majestic, Screaming Frog, Botify, Stat, SEMrush, etc.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule for self and work within agreed timescales.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview
