The Role You will be selling a range of products to OEM customers within the Food packaging and producing industries- This will largely be across the southeast of England. You will be nurturing and growing customer’s accounts whilst bringing new accounts on board with the business. Day to day Seek out new customers and develop the relationship- Take care of customer service needs in first 12 months of becoming a customer. Respond to enquiries from new (less than 12 months) customers in a timely manner and maintain high levels of customer service
- Review and report on new & existing customers sales and buying patterns
Produce regular reports on buying patterns for all customers
- Review potential customers and suppliers
Investigate and seek out new customers and suppliers worldwide
- Review and report on industry news and new business potential
Keep updated with industry news and report to staff as needed
- Monthly marketing strategies for based on reports generated
Complete marketing plans and plan campaigns based on reports generated Produce quotations and record on MIE Trak Maintain and improve quality standards for the business administration department. Record administrative errors through NCR system and produce monthly reports to highlight areas for staff or process improvements. Submit findings to management for review. Any other duties as may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post and to assist in the fulfilment of the Company’s objectives, commensurate with your salary grade, abilities, and aptitudes. Essential
- 3+ years’ Sales experience selling into OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) customers
- Proven ability to build and maintain solid relationships at a strategic level
- Sales skills including objection handling and closing
- Ability to articulate the product capabilities against customer need
- Full clean driving licence
