Chief Technology Officer
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £120,000 - £150,000 plus shares, bonus and benefits
Location: WFH & in-person– very flexible

The Company
The Digital Recruitment Company has been retained on a confidential search for an experienced CTO.
Role Purpose:- The purpose of the CTO is to lead the current technology strategy and R&D teams across multiple jurisdictions.
- The CTO’s responsibility is to deliver R&D projects to a high quality and within defined budgets by using internal resources. The role will require experienced leadership in influential capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Execution of global product development strategy
- Leading the global product development organisation, managing the product development lead for each product in their portfolio
- Working with the Head of Innovation to define and support the product management and development processes, including ideation, incubation of emerging products/services and transition of ideas to mainstream or new lines of business
- Working with the Head of Innovation to maintain long-term product and platform roadmaps and drive product management activities
- Responsible for global product development P&L management and objectives
- Leading personnel initiatives to improve product development team recruitment, training and growth
Skills & Experience:- Previous experience as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO), preferably across multiple countries
- Demonstrable commercial acumen, with prior experience of having grown a software product successfully
- Experience in proptech/buildtech products
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Personal qualities:- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate product development teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding and knowledge of emerging technologies
- Able to guide and intervene on specific technology challenges
- Demonstrably driven and self-motivated
