Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running with social media, has an understanding and experience in digital marketing (SEO, PPC, website updates) with an ability to write engaging content.
This role will include a wide and varied range of marketing activities – there are opportunities to build your existing knowledge and expand your marketing horizons with amazing training and development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Be the UK’s social media champion by building awareness of our clients brand on social media platforms, through creating engaging content and posts, both organic and paid – namely Facebook and Instagram.
- Propose and implement new ideas to engage with customers, members and employees on social media.
- Liaise with the HQs Social Media Specialist to align posts and liaise with Membership teams to produce membership posts and sharing membership activity.
- Create captivating content including article writing to increase the foresters.com search ranking and to increase backlinks to the website.
- Monitor and responding to customer feedback; including on review sites and social media posts.
- Acquire insight on online marketing trends to keep social media and digital strategies.
- Work closely with the Digital and Design Specialist to enhance customers online journey and help optimise the website – including making webpage amends.
- Monitor online presence and build reviews; Google and Trust Pilot
- Be part of the team to design and implement planned email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (desirable).
- Online paid advertising set up, execution and monitoring the success; examples include Google Ads.
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts; social media insights and web analytics tools; Google Analytics and Semrush. Using this insight to improve digital experience and campaign effectiveness.
- Be in Involved in business and marketing project deliveries
- Apply strategic digital thinking in daily tasks.
- Liaise with digital agencies as and when required
- Any additional ad hoc marketing activities.
Required:- Past experience in running, designing and implementing social media campaigns – knowledge of paid and organic activities to engagement with customers.
- Experience of building social media engagement and followers.
- Understanding of web analytics and experience in using tools to evaluate, especially Google Analytics
- Ability to copy write marketing material and gain agreement from Stakeholders.
- Competent in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to function as a team player and work independently.
- Good time management
Desired:- Experience in using Semrush
- Experience in using an email dispatch system.
- Understanding of PPC
- Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite

- Educated to a degree level with at least 2-3 years marketing experience, ideally in the financial industry.
