Job Type: Contract role Initial term 3 months

The Role
The Product Owner plays a key role in shaping and delivering a new, innovative B2B2C digital product within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment within the financial services space. This is a hands-on role focused on translating client and business needs into a scalable, high-impact digital solution. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will define priorities, manage the product backlog, and drive Agile delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritise product features to maximise client value while ensuring technical feasibility
- Own and manage the product backlog aligned to stakeholder requirements
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
- Support scalable and modular product development
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term scalability
- Define data and personalisation strategy inputs
- Coordinate user validation sessions
- Manage releases, dependencies, and technical debt
- Work with technical teams on integrations and architecture
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments
- Strong understanding of digital product development
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional teams
- Data-driven mindset and familiarity with digital tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Experience working within Financial services
