Job Type:                     Permanent
Salary:                        DOE plus shares, bonus and benefits

The Company
The Digital Recruitment Company has been retained on a confidential search for an experienced Chief Revenue Officer. Ideally with sector experience within industries such as construction and property tech.

Role Purpose:
  • The CRO will be responsible for all revenue generating elements across the business and will have ultimate accountability in aligning and building strategic partnerships in a matrixed environment.
  • The CRO will collaborate with other members of the Leadership / Executive Team to execute corporate strategies by expanding our customer base and wallet share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, lead and execute the global revenue strategy across the organisation to drive revenue growth, maintaining customer centricity throughout.
  • Empower group wide sales functions within a matrix environment, collaborating with Regional MD’s and local Sales leaders to ensure best practice and group initiatives are executed within each business unit.
  • Collaborate with the wider Leadership / Executive team, to define and support revenue generation across the Group to understand and improve current pricing models and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, product development, marketing and operations to align sales strategies.
  • Monitor and understand our customers marketplace and analyse opportunities for growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships to expand our customer base and market presence.
  • Analyse our go-to-market initiatives and define areas of development and investment.
  • Lead personnel initiatives to build a high-performing Sales teams, providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to drive individual and team success.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement lead to deliver SA strategies across the Group.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and best practices to ensure a competitive edge in the marketplace.
  • Represent the company at industry evens, conferences and networking opportunities to promote our brand and build strategic alliances.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), preferably across multiple countries, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets, preferably within the ConTech space though not essential.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, negotiation and closing techniques.
  • Skilled in optimising sales process for efficiency and effectiveness, embracing change management.
  • Proficiency in defining and analysing key performance indicators.
  • Deep understanding of market trends and customer needs in the competitive ConTech landscape.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen, with prior experience of having grown a software product successfully.
  • Experience/knowledge of working at Board level environment.
  • Experience in ConTech, matrixed environments a bonus.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
