The Role
The Paid Media Lead will be responsible for developing integrated paid media plans, managing >$5M in media buy execution through agency partners, and continuously optimizing global brand and demand campaigns across marketing and sales channels.

The Paid Media Lead plans and executes digital marketing campaigns through paid search, display, programmatic, and other paid media channels. They will oversee the development and execution of our paid media strategies, analyzing paid media performance, and manage relationships with paid media partners to increase brand awareness, consumer and buyer acquisition, and customer loyalty and retention. A member of the digital & integrated marketing team, the Planning & Paid Media Lead works closely with product marketing, customer experience (CX), product management, and sales to bring revenue generating products and solutions to market while increasing the visibility and influence of the brand through marketing & partner channels.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Digital and Integrated Marketing. It is eligible for hybrid work.

Responsibilities
As the Paid Media Lead you will have the opportunity to:
  • Own, strategically plan, manage, and coordinate the implementation of integrated digital marketing campaigns and digital experiences, in addition to brand/demand activations through our society network.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and execute paid media strategies that are consistent with brand standards and align with marketing goals and objectives across the organization’s product portfolio.
  • Define the strategy and lead agencies and partners to drive and execute plan paid media campaigns across various channels, including digital and social ads and programmatic advertising.
  • Conduct audience research and analysis to identify target demographics and media habits. Create and implement strategy based on findings.  
  • Coordinate with cross-functional groups (e.g.legal, compliance, It, and marketing) to ensure media is operating seamlessly and that content meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Define and monitor the optimization of paid media campaigns and devise strategies to improve performance metrics.
  • Monitor paid media performance and ensure the provision of regular reporting on campaign effectiveness. Deliver reporting on paid marketing performance and KPIs to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Manage paid media budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources to reach KPIs.

Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 plus years professional experience in digital marketing/advertising or agency experience.
  • Proven experience as a Planning & Paid Media Lead or in a similar paid media planning and buying leadership role. Working with Planning & Paid media in the financial/investment space is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of paid media planning and buying principles, including audience targeting, negotiation, and optimization. Experience with other paid media channels, such as display advertising, native advertising, or video advertising, is preferred.
  • Experience leveraging various paid media planning and buying tools and platforms is required.
  • Professional experience with budget management and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of advertising regulations and guidelines.
  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates the ability to develop and execute effective paid media strategies.
