The Role
As the Events Marketing Specialist, this role offers a unique opportunity to manage the company’s virtual and physical event programme. The key function of this role is to lead and manage the full range of global events, including webinars, tradeshows, exhibitions, and conferences, working to agreed KPIs to generate new leads or advancing existing prospect and customer relationships. Working with the Marketing Manager and relevant Sales team members, the Events Marketing Specialist will manage an event programme according to the strategic needs of geographies and industry applications, deciding on their event objectives, content, and audience generation strategy. They will also manage the event attendance and logistics with Marketing team members, Sales teams, selected partners, and suppliers. The Events Marketing Specialist will work with other Marketing team members to execute an optimal mix of pre- and post-event marketing activity to ensure success against the objectives.
Day-to-day
Drive audiences for each event using the optimum range of channel activity, applying lessons learned from previous events, to meet required KPIs and targets
Plan and execute virtual and physical events in regions of focus, including webinars, trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, customer user groups, and other innovative online formats; leading on content, audience generation, format/presence, communications to drive success, and evaluation.
Partner with Sales and Marketing to execute on account engagement strategy to generate new business pipeline and accelerate existing opportunities with events
Contribute to the quarterly and annual integrated marketing plans for target regions and verticals across marketing channels
Proactively engage with the Sales teams to co-ordinate, communicate and optimise the impact of their events
Evaluate, select, and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs, including event vendors, local media publishers and agencies
Manage day-to-day requirements and deadlines, including working with stakeholders to ensure marketing events are executed with a high degree of quality
Monitor and report on results of events, and analyse results to shape future event selection and planning
Work closely with all members of the Marketing team to ensure pre- and post-event marketing is delivered to fulfil event objectives.
Keeping ahead of industry trends and event developments to ensure they are maximising all event marketing opportunities.
Essential
3+ years’ experience of running successful events marketing programmes, including virtual and physical events
Demonstrable experience and evidence of generating audiences for events.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Adept to change and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail and ability to handle pressure.
Desirable
Experience of project managing fully global marketing events programmes (UK, EU, USA, APAC)
Proficient working with international vendors and teams
Good working knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot.
