The Role:
Are you looking to take your next step in SEO and join an agency as a SEO Lead working with a welcoming and talented  in a friendly SEO team. You will be key to supporting their range of clients across different verticals including eCommerce.
 
Reporting into the Strategic Marketing Director a key accountability will be to deliver day to day work in line with SEO strategies, and to help further develop in-house SEO services. Additionally, joining a growing team and you will see you benefit from working closely alongside experienced paid media account teams.
 
As a rapidly growing digital agency, they can offer a challenging and stimulating environment. You will be constantly learning and acting as a trusted advisor to their clients and the wider performance marketing team.
 
 
What will you be doing?
 
  • Leading the creation and execution of SEO strategies for retained clients, including
on-site SEO roadmaps, technical SEO, keyword research, commercial analysis and
content strategy, with a laser focus on performance and results
  • Stay abreast of client performance, including rankings, search visibility, traffic,
conversions and revenue, and react accordingly
  • Plan and perform SEO tasks in line with approved client strategies
  • Converse directly with clients regarding outputted work, recommendations and
reports
  • Assist with client CRO work (both ad hoc and retained), including audits, test plans
and reporting
  • Assist Strategic Marketing Director, Client Services Manager and Business
  • Development Manager in the production of high-class SEO/PPC/digital health checks
and proposals for new business and upsell opportunities
  • Proactively identify, develop, and propose up/cross-sell opportunities across the client
portfolio
  • Plan and execute SEO-focused strategies for new website build projects and website
migrations
  • Work with other Leads in the team to drive our SEO offering forward in terms of best
practices, new tactics, and software/tooling
  • Test and learn’ to identify incremental improvement opportunities for clients
 
Experience and skills:
  • All round SEO experience (covering technical, on-site, and off-site).
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • Experience in website/SEO analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, AHrefs, DeepCrawl and Screaming Frog.
  • Experience in SEO performance reporting and dashboard systems such as Google Data Studio.
  • An analytical, data-driven thinker with a proactive approach.
  • Strong time-management skills and an ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work in and foster a positive team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and time / priority management skills.
  • Desire to learn and get stuck into the day-to-day running of a growing, challenger digital consultancy.
  • Ambition to help the agency develop its SEO capabilities, grow our dedicated team, and progress your career as an SEO and performance marketing specialist.
