The Organisation
This is your opportunity to join a pioneering Sports Tech company, who are rapidly expanding both within the UK and across the globe.
This is an organisation based in Central London who are on a mission to make it easier for everyone to play sport through their search and booking marketplace that gives 100k+ players access to pitches and courts for 20+ sports through their website and app. Alongside this, they help to reduce admin and increase bookings for facility operators and activity providers through their booking software.
If you are experienced in SaaS sales as well as a sports enthusiast and have experience working within tech and you are ready to own a leadership role this is an opportunity not to be missed! You will love what you do, you will want to stay involved in the day-to-day sales activity as well as leading, managing and nurturing two Sales Executives. .
The Role
This inspiring organisation are looking for sales leader and executor to become their Head of Sales you will be led by the Chief Operating Officer and will own our go-to-market strategy by heading up our sales team and leading by example across our business development activities. You will be accompanied by an experienced Head of Marketing leading a newly appointed marketing team, a variety of valued and influential strategic and distribution partnerships, and an exciting forward-looking sales pipeline.

ambition and drive to step up and take on additional responsibility. Equally, this role would
suit someone who has experience leading a sales team already, but is eager for a new
challenge and greater level of autonomy over progressing ideas into action.
Key Responsibilities
Sitting as the leader of our Sales Team, this role will be responsible for:
Sales Strategy & KPI Reporting (15%)
They have a clear set of strategic themes and projects that underpin their delivery. As
the sales leader, you will be responsible for:
- The sales strategy, and how it accelerates the strategic priorities and growth.
- Responsible for sales processes and Sales KPIs, harnessing the use of HubSpot
- Working openly and collaboratively as part of the management team with our
to co-deliver our strategic priorities.
Leading, Managing, and Mentoring (25%)
They have a young and dynamic sales team composed of a Business Development
Manager and Business Development Executive. You will be responsible for:
- Mentoring, coaching, and inspiring our sales team and its activities
- Assuming line management responsibilities for both BDM and BDE
- Setting the tone of our regular engagement with prospects and leads, as well as publicly at industry events and exhibitions
Executing your own sales pipeline (60%)
As well as leading and managing the sales function, you will take pride in your own
sales abilities and lead by example in being responsible for:
- Continually executing their sales process end-to-end, yourself, from prospect to

A hunger for sales- You should be unapologetically hungry to sell, driven to be a
high-performing sales professional day-in, day-out. We would expect you to be tenacious,
unwavering, and inspiring in your never-say-never and don’t-take-no-for-an-answer
approach.
A natural leader- You love to take the concepts of marketing, and put them into action
by engaging audiences with an original and innovative strategy. You’ll be creative, curious,
passionate, interested in ‘what’s going on in the world’, and eager to learn and reapply this
to our business.
A keen sports player or fan, and team player- From football to tennis, whatever your
game, you like to immerse yourself in playing, watching, or engaging with sport. You thrive as
part of a small, agile team, always wanting to chip in and support where needed.
Skills
As a minimum, you should have:
● 4+ years’ experience in sales, and Ideally 2+ years as a leader within a sales team
● Demonstrable experience managing your own pipeline and exceeding targets
● Excellent interpersonal skills, building trust with clients and colleagues alike
● End-to experience with public sector procurement and tender processes
● Champions positive change and a creative, collaborative work environment
