The Role:
- Develop and execute campaigns to generate leads, grow revenues, with significant campaigns planned quarterly in advance
- Generate content, collaborating with HQ and external agencies for newsletters, case studies, articles, testimonials videos, media announcements, sales presentations etc.
- Advertising and PR planning and execution
- Creating relevant local social media content
- Events management
- Organize customer training programs and webinars
- Ensuring the UK complies with brand and corporate guidelines
- Manage the UK marketing budget, including forecasting, tracking, spending, optimizing return on investments
- Coordinating the production of artwork, show walls and marketing materials that comply with brand guidelines, marketing budget and agreed deadlines
- Being a proud Ambassador of the brand, prepared to present, speak to and in front of customers
- Ensuring purity and integrity of translations from US English into the native language in your region/s
- Take ownership of all marketing discussions and initiatives with customers
- Local UK website management
Personal qualities and skills
- Languages: Native English speaker.
- Education: University degree is preferred, passion for Marketing is a must. No subject type is essential but Marketing, Business Admin, Creative Arts, Technical Design and Engineering disciplines would be considered favourably.
- Marketing Experience: 10 years’ minimum in Marketing, including digital marketing and events management. Traditionally, they have focused on B2B but are gradually moving downstream and therefore a background in B2C technology could bring a new set of skills into the team
- Industry Experience: Renewable energy, high-tech, power electronics, electric vehicle industries are highly preferable but not essential
- Full driver’s license
- Capable of demonstrating the following soft skills and attributes:
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
- Meticulous planning and organization skills
- Highly reliable, always ‘doing what you say you will do’, and meeting deadlines
- Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure and retain cross-group collaborations
- Perceptive, empathetic team player with a strong desire to empower others
- Solid analytical skills with consistent attention to detail and good with numbers
- Presentation skills,
- Competent negotiator with suppliers
