The Role:

I am looking for a highly experienced Senior Marketing Manager  to join a talented team on their journey to transform marketing.
You’ll be working directly with the Group Marketing Director, The Product Manager as well as other members of the marketing team, and many of their 800 team members on several different leading solutions.You will be taking full marketing responsibility for 2 solutions.
  • You must have B2B SaaS/tech experience and at least 5 years of experience in such a role
  • Find ways to cut through the busy working lives of the senior managers who make up most of our target audience
  • Using our data/databases, segment our targets and develop a strategy on the most appealing value proposition for the different segments and also how to reach and engage the target personas/individuals with compelling content
  • Drive leads by using both paid for (promoted social, remarketing, LI, SEO, PPC, promoted content, etc) and (more importantly) nonpaid for (in product promotion, webinars, website, email, marketing automation, etc) tactics and activity
  • Hit ROI targets on marketing spend
  • Improve website effectiveness to drive web and lead gen KPIs
  • Measure, analyse, report - Produce regular dashboard and reports showing performance against KPIs
 
 
 
  • There is enormous variety  –  You’ll be dealing with many different tasks
  • This is a  both a strategic and a hands-on role
  • We’re not looking for a Performance Marketing Manager – a person who only optimises paid for campaigns. This role is about understanding the complex products, getting super close to customers/prospects, understanding their pain and how you can help, and then the marketing strategies/buyer journey employed to cut through their busy jobs in order to prove to them that you are an essential part of the solution.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Achieve lead gen targets and new logo revenue targets
  • Own product marketing for your solutions
  • Work closely with our field sales teams in the many marketing needs they have
  • Set the most effective strategy to drive more new business from existing and new prospects in our TAM
  • Nurture prospects via a series of content and campaigns
  • Develop the right content for the right persona which reaches them at the right point / time in the sales funnel
  • Work with various internal departments, and marketing (content, data, design, IT, procurement, legal) to execute the campaigns
  • Ability to understand in detail all our products, their segmentation, their benefits, different customer personas – effectively to become a product expert
  • Working in fast paced, ever-changing environment
 
 
What we are looking for
 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing, demand gen role in B2B
  • Experience with a company in similar product category (e.g. digital transformation B2B products, SaaS) – please note maritime experience is not required
  • Can demonstrate high level of success in driving B2B leads
  • Expertise of ABM
  • Excellent experience with broad range of digital, sales and marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot, Adwords/paid search, remarketing platforms, GA, CMS, LinkedIn/paid social, Salesforce, email platforms, display)
  • Commercially minded
  • Degree qualified
  • Experience of working with internal and external senior stakeholders, in particular product and field sales teams
  • Super organized; meticulous attention to detail
  • Person will be busy (juggle lots of plates, balance lots of projects) and will need to take lead and initiative on important marketing projects
  • Good numeracy/analytics and strong written skills
