The Role:
My client is building an exciting new team that will drive a new approach to paid, owned and earned content creation, that puts the customer at the heart of everything.
I am looking for an experienced Content Strategist/Head of Social Media with the ability to develop and bring to life compelling content strategies working from brief through to measurement and optimisation, across integrated channels.


Day-to-day:
  • Understand and embrace the vital role that content plays across customer journeys. This is a critical role to help build briefs and own content strategy for key campaign
  • Be hungry, driven, inspiring and really wants to make an impact
  • Be a social native, passionate about the industry, and happy to work in a fast and ever-changing environment
  • Take and respond to client (internal and external) briefs with content/social media strategy briefs working creatively and to strict timelines
  • Work with the data and insights team to write inspiring, customer-first strategies to support creative ideas
  • Create best in class presentations that will continually excite clients as well as working with the senior management team to support strategic proposals and recommendations for clients
  • Interpret key research, customer behaviour and trends content platforms into actionable learnings
  • Work alongside analysts with social, mobile, digital and customer data to uncover insights that will make a difference to content experiences
  • Keep up to date with the latest digital and social trends impacting content needs and consumption habits.


Skills required:
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and how ideas are best expressed as content through paid and organic formats
  • Knowledge of other channels in the content ecosystem and how they integrate with social
  • A deep thinker with the ability to work with key business stakeholders to understand their marketing objectives and build confidence with your knowledge on how to shape content strategies
  • A thirst for audience-centric thinking, social media trends and planning using a variety of research methods
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills with an eagerness to pick up the phone
  • A people person with experience managing projects/processes
  • Highly organised with experience briefing creative and editorial production teams
  • Digital PR knowledge preferred
  • Can work with key business stakeholders to understand their marketing objectives and build confidence with your knowledge on how to shape content strategies
  • Ability to work fast and smart under pressure, delivering against a set of outcomes within a fixed time frame and working in a nimble/agile environment
