Marketing Social Specialist

Job Type: Permanent 
Salary: upto £40,000-£42,000 + package
Location: Remote WHF (commute to London 1-2 times a week as a guide)

The Key Role Functions:
As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Social Media strategy in order to increase the online presence and improve the marketing and sales efforts. This is an exciting new opportunity to play a vital role in the wider Marketing team. The role is varied and dynamic and it needs someone who is highly organised and motivated to work closely with the Marketing, and Sales departments.


Responsibilities:
Your work will directly contribute to us achieving our long term ambitions. As Social Media Specialist your key responsibilities will include:
  • Develop, implement and manage the social media strategy for the company in partnership with the Director of Marketing
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Manage and oversee social media content, working across a variety of platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
  • Working across organic social media with paid media incorporated where appropriate
  • Getting creative with campaigns and ensuring maximum outreach for each post
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Inside Sales teams, as well as Client Account Directors
  • Work with Copywriters and Designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager and Web Developer - Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimisation
  • Use social media marketing and analytics tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Google Analytics
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Reporting regularly to senior management on performance, and provide constructive feedback
 


Experience:
  • Minimum of 3+  years of experience as a Social Media Manager/Specialist or similar role
  • A proactive approach in order to drive initiatives forward and suggest new ideas
  • Significant experience working with organic social media and experience in paid social media, using social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • A love for B2B and a clear understanding of how it differs from B2C in the online marketing world
  • Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in written and verbal form
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • BA/BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
