The Digital Recruitment Company are looking for a creative but digitally and technically focused Senior Content writer to join the global marketing team of a leading global technology provider and specialist distributor.
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing content that tells stories in an engaging way. The successful candidate will have a passion for storytelling and developing inspiring and innovative content that creates great experiences and inspires action.

The Role
An experienced and dynamic content writer, working within the wider Marketing team, responsible for developing content that tells our stories in an engaging way to deliver great customer experiences and build brand and reputation with our stakeholders. Writing long and short form content including blogs/articles, eBooks, reports, web copy, scripts and more to support the company’s strategy and go-to-market programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing, proofreading, and editing new and existing content to tell compelling stories across our digital channels
- Help shape the company’s thought leadership positions on key strategic areas
- Develop data-driven understanding of audience behaviours and needs that will anchor content creation
- Generate content ideas and researching topics, contribute to project ideation and concepts
- Ensure digital copy is SEO optimised
- Proof reading and editing other team members’ work
- Bring technology and business subject matters to life in a fresh and interesting way, converting complex topics into clear and engaging copy
- Collaborate with a wide range of business stakeholders at all levels, including interviews and content reviews with C-Suite and senior leaders
- Work closely with marketing, creative and digital teams to support content needs across different business areas
Skills and Experience
- 6+ years experience producing content across key technology and business topics, in particular cybersecurity, SaaS/Software, ESG, diversity and inclusion
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy, excellent grammar, editorial skills, and judgement
- Experience of working with brand, messaging, and tone of voice guidelines
- Solid understanding of content marketing strategy, SEO, and SEM
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines and work under pressure, ability to pivot in response to changing priorities
- Experience working with content marketing tools and creative processes
- Experience of working in a fast-paced B2B environment
- Highly motivated, passionate, with ability to inspire stakeholders
- Creative and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work as part of a geographically disperse team
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Suite and business collaboration tools
