The Role:
This role will hold accountabilities for all aspects of success in growing, serving and profitably monetizing a key strategic segment for our UK business, Micro, SME and Large Direct customers. You will be responsible for the development of 3-year strategy plans, 1-year operating plans and quarterly/monthly Go-to-Market plans as well as ad-hoc initiatives as needed to respond to competitive activity or new opportunities.
You will work in a collaborative and structured way across all aspects of the business to define and deliver execution of the strategy for growth and value creation. You will be responsible for ensuring that Product, Traffic delivery, Lead-generation, Marketing, Sales, and Sales Operations are all aligned along the way in order to deliver growth in IS and Profitability for the UK business. You will ensure that we can serve and grow this market effectively while capturing higher market penetration, wallet share/PQ, revenues per job-listing and applicant. You will also need to drive monetization of our product innovations, features and functionality that make these customers more productive in their recruitment workflow.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and refresh 3-year strategy plan – Running planning sessions with key stakeholders to set targets and key strategic value creation plans (VCP)
- Develop 1-year operating plan and setting targets by sector – running planning sessions with key stakeholders, which progress the strategy
- Develop quarterly Go-to-Market plans and setting targets by sector – running planning sessions with key stakeholders that ensure strategic and tactical execution.
- This is a broad remit so you will be working across key stakeholders in Commercial Strategy (Analytics and PMO) as well as Rec Con Sales, Customer Service/Success, Marketing/lead-gen, Product/Commercial Product, Finance, Marketplace Management,
- Running well structured, insight driven and purposeful monthly review sessions with the ALT.
- Understanding and driving all the key value drivers for this segment – Mastering an understanding of all drivers of attrition/non-renewal and driving initiatives to increase loyalty.
- Setting regular list prices and discount rules
- *Defining quarterly campaigns, promotions, timing/implementation of new product launches.
- Driving innovation across the whole category of recruitment solutions working with Product and Tech Teams.
Skills & Experience:
- Powerful combination of strategic thinker as well as commercial acumen and experience.
- Highly collaborative and good influencer at all levels and across cultures.
- Bias to action, tenacious in delivering what they believe is best for the customer and business
- Highly analytical and creative and can combine two to deliver innovative solutions.
- Broad exposure to many aspects of business – product, sales, marketing, customer service, reporting, traffic and knows how the components need to work together to deliver full potential.
- Craves impact. Not satisfied with status quo – wants to drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) but will push step-change and transformational initiatives when appropriate.
- Willing to operate at multiple levels – roll-up sleeves and get into details while also happy to present to senior leadership.
- High bandwidth for learning and delivery. Wants to continually develop personally.
- Will bring something unique to the team and willing to coach others
- Planning/Strategy / Commercial / Sales & Marketing experience
- Has worked in B2B information solutions
