The role:
A fantastic opportunity for a trading focused and commercially minded Head of Ecommerce to take full responsibility of their ecommerce platform and to be based at their offices near Southampton, Hampshire.
Our client is a fast-growing lifestyle brand with equestrian heritage. They offer a wide range of technical, sustainable and quality product with stylish colour that is developing into an aspirational lifestyle brand, with a passionate customer base. With a new website launching imminently and huge plans for UK and international growth, this opportunity is unique.
You'll have a natural entrepreneurial mindset, be used to working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with having full ownership and accountability of a high performing website. As an experienced Head of Ecommerce, you are confident in leading the growth strategy and advising on best practice.
The Key Role Functions:
- To manage all E-Commerce channels and grow ecommerce business in the UK and Internationally.
- Drive digital excellence across all ecommerce channels: B2C, B2B and Marketplace.
- Own the Ecommerce P&L and performance vs. budget, including full trading responsibility for the website
- Develop and implement the digital/ecommerce strategy to drive global growth through creative storytelling, digital calendar planning and best in class customer experience
- Quality and ongoing development of the on-site customer experience
- Identify new business opportunities and growth projects for ecommerce
- Driving a forward-thinking development roadmap to continue to create engaging user journeys and drive conversion through strong UX
- Analyse and report on ecommerce KPIs and ensure insights drive action
- Deliver traffic growth, optimising ROI, ROAS and CLTV
- Management and performance of direct team and external partners
Experience:
- A background in Ecommerce environment is essential (ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience gained in a similar position)
- A track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious KPIs
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex sets of data
- Experience and knowledge of developing profitable Amazon sales
- University level qualification (or equivalent) within business and/or marketing
- Experience or knowledge of the market, competition, distribution and clients would be an advantage
- Confident, hard-working and self-motivated
- A relationship builder with excellent communication/interpersonal skills
