The Role:
 
You will be working on a portfolio of brand clients in financial service, utilities and tel co industries that we have held for a significant number of years. The role is varied and extremely fast paced to fulfil our role which is brand led.
 
Your role will require you to be a creative problem solver, and to lead all delivery elements of the account by both overseeing and being hands on across numerous projects, playing a leading client facing role in ensuring the day-to-day work is delivered on brief, to exceptional quality, on time and on budget.
 
This is a client facing role – you will be the main point of contact for the Client and responsible for building a positive relationship – both internally within the agency, working closely with the Strategy and Creative department. And externally partnering with Clients to ensure that the agency always add value ensuring the absolute best quality work is delivered.
 
You will be adept at multi-tasking – actively juggling multiple work-streams and stakeholders for successful delivery.
 
You will be a people person and can get the most out of those around you –whether they be in your own team, the creative, strategy or internal teams and the Clients.
The ideal candidate would not only have a thorough understanding of Brand Experience must also have / or be able develop an exceptional understanding of the digital arena and how new and emerging developments can be exploited to add value to a client’s business.
 
Core Responsibilities:
 
Clients

  • Partnering and developing strong relationships with Clients, be interested in their business - importantly how it is changing, how they work, priorities and their brands
  • Understanding of the Client’s organisation structure, who reports to who.
  • Ensuring compliance against our Client contract
  • Championing the Client always – making sure the account gets the love it deserves
  • Running Client retainer and overseeing all other projects – challenging the work if it is not right, briefing the team, overseeing delivery and presenting to the Client.
  • Challenging the Client on their briefs and being open and honest with them if we don’t get what we need from them.
  • Contribution to Client satisfaction reviews
  • Quality assurance, making sure the right resources have reviewed and signed off work before it is presented
  • Lead on client presentations
  • Responsible for managing clear client feedback, team comms and implementation
 
Commercial

  • Meets and exceeds revenue and realisation targets for projects.
  • Change management, able to track and identify where change requests should be raised and manage with the Client in advance.
  • Attendance at weekly resource meetings and interrogating the need for freelancers to ensure we are being as efficient as possible
  • Tracking all project financials on a weekly basis and ensure budgets are spent efficiently and upwards reporting to Head of Delivery and Client Partner.
  • Constantly looking at how we can be as efficient as possible with the team to maximise profit margins.
  • Interrogating costs from suppliers to ensure we are not overcharged
  • Proactively manage any overspends before they happen and provide solutions / alternative ways forward.
  • Accurate understanding of revenue forecast across all your projects to help Client Partner accurately complete the Financial Forecast
 
Team

  • Leadership and management of multi-disciplinary resources as and when they are engaged on client activity (strategy, ux, technology and creative).
  • Overseeing Delivery on project work, checking and writing statements of work, briefs, budgets, invoices, billing, forecasts and deliverables to ensure they are accurate and do not go to the Client if they are not correct
  • Consistently strives to improve systems and processes
  • Keep information flowing throughout the team and make sure all team members are up to date with all project information.
  • Master the art of delegation. Junior and senior team members are both resources that you will be supported with.
 
Skills & Experience:
 
This role will require flexibility and creativity in approach whilst leading on best practices, you’ll be a great listener and communicator, motivator and project manager with an innate ability to 'get things done', whilst ensuing quality is always the priority. As a result, you wear many hats. You will be advising teams and clients on briefs, scope and budgets, concepts and work. So will need to be able build strong, resilient relationships with internal departments and external clients.

  • Experienced in managing of creative and strategy teams
  • Negotiation skills
  • Brief writing skills – making the complex simple, being able to understand from the audience’s perspective
  • Ability to build strong and trusting relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Experience in managing third party suppliers
  • Experience with brand and design work
  • Entrepreneurial skills, continuously on the lookout for new business opportunities and ways to pre-empt client opportunities
  • Confident with Client management and able to effectively represent the company in Client interactions
  • Project / account management experience at a leading agency, professional services firm or similar organisation.
