The Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of B2B Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity to join a leading European investment marketplace as a Commercial Marketing Manager. You’ll be responsible for managing and optimising marketing activity to maximise conversion rates and, ultimately, funds raised for the businesses on their platform.
Prioritising and managing marketing for a diverse range of businesses, from start-ups to more established businesses, this role plays an integral part in the customer experience and the company revenue generation.
Focused on evolving their marketing offering and enhancing their value proposition, you'll explore, test, and optimise ways to maximise the investment businesses raise with the company across all marketing channels, particularly email marketing, and establishing partnership opportunities. In this hands-on role, the successful candidate will also work directly with companies in a consultative capacity to provide advice on marketing to support a successful crowdfunding campaign.
Supported by the wider marketing team and with two direct reports, the successful candidate will work closely with the VP of Commercial and Equity Campaigns Team.
What you will be doing:
- Managing, prioritising and optimising marketing activity to support businesses’ campaigns
- Managing a team of managers and / or executives who are delivering marketing campaigns for all the businesses raising on the company
- Introducing and implementing processes and tools to help streamline and effectively manage and prioritise campaigns
- Developing a consistent approach to campaign reporting to evaluate effectiveness of marketing activity
- Offering marketing advice and support to the Campaigns team to maximise percentage of businesses that successfully fundraise
- Initiating creative and innovative strategies to increase funds raised and maximise revenue
- Exploring new partnership opportunities and ways to enhance the value proposition for fundraising businesses
- Providing consultative marketing support to businesses by creating training materials, hosting webinars or working directly with them
- Approving and/or creating marketing content
Ideally you will have:
- Experience in working in a commercially focused marketing team
- Demonstrable experience in Campaign Management, forming and executing multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously
- Experience building and maintaining relationships and understanding customer needs
- Experience in a client-facing role, such as account management, would be beneficial but not essential
- Have excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Are collaborative with a flexible approach
- Have empathy and understanding of the difficulties our customers (entrepreneurs of start-ups and scaleups) face
- Are data-driven with a drive to innovate and improve
- Are highly organised and methodical, with an eye for detail
Why apply

- Participation in the employee share option plan (subject to the prevailing company policy at the time)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays + holiday for tenure
