We’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join the UK’S leading tech training provider. They are specialists in technology providing a collection of talent and training services helping individuals and companies be winners in the digital revolution. They specialise in the people side of technology and provide a supported and fun environment for their employees.
THE ROLE
You will own the social media strategy and find innovative ways to tell this dynamic company’s story, grow their audience and engagement, help to amass quality leads, and ensure they remain at the forefront of social media best practice and trends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social strategy & reporting- Develop social media strategy with the aim of increasing our brand awareness and customer engagement, using continuous research, bench-marking and audience mapping.
- Analyse the long-term needs of our social media strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan.
- In the short-term, create monthly and campaign-level reports and offer data insights that can be used to immediately optimise campaigns.
- Use a data-first approach to set measurable goals for campaigns, measuring, and showing the return on investment.
Social content creation- Create captivating content for our social media sites, which may include writing blogs, articles, posts and creating multimedia content.
- Liaise with the marketing, design, and video teams to develop, execute and amplify a holistic and effective campaign strategy.
- Ensure each campaign is optimised for its target audience and adhere to the brand, tone of voice and style guide.
- Set up editorial calendars and plan ahead, ensuring a good balance of posts daily and weekly.
Paid social media management- Drive and lead approach to Paid Social.
- Liaise with Paid Digital Managers to lead campaigns across social platforms (Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, etc.)
- Build and update optimisation reports and recommend opportunities to improve campaigns which drive growth.
- Deliver results in line with client objectives and KPIs (customer acquisition and ROI).
- Analyse data to spot key trends and report them to key stakeholders.
- Monitor data sources for new trends and business opportunities.
- Tracking knowledge across web (pixels, GTM etc.) and app (MMPs)
Community- Nurture our communities, share industry news and insights, celebrate the successes of our industry partners, and research our competitors.
- Respond to reviews and DMs and work with the customer service team to resolve queries and complaints in a friendly and speedy manner.
- Assist colleagues with any social media-related queries and increase social sharing internally.
- Keep an eye on social media best practices, platform developments and industry trends.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
- You have 4+ years' experience in social media management, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Tech experience is a bonus but not essential.
- Reporting and analysis.
- Strong copywriting skills and the ability to tell a story across different formats, including video.
- Top-notch English grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and handle a heavy workload under pressure.
- First-class organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting to and working with senior team members.
- Ability to develop cross-function working relationships and manage stakeholders across a variety of levels.
- Excellent numeracy and analysis skills.
- Strong business/commercial mindset.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
YOUR KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent understanding of all social media platforms, organic and paid.
- Excellent understanding of marketing principles.
- Excellent understanding of social scheduling and CRM tools.
- You have demonstrable knowledge of social media analytics and best practice KPIs, and you know your way around Google Analytics.
- Educated to degree-level or relevant technical qualifications that demonstrate role suitability
- Holding a professional marketing qualification will be advantageous
