Role:
Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst to play a key role in contributing to one of the fastest growing teams in the agency. As part of the Digital team, the Senior Analyst will work directly with the client directors across the agency, as well as clients, to create and deliver research and analytics reports across traditional, digital and social media that deliver actionable intelligence.
They are seeking someone who is a Swiss Army knife: a blend of an analytical mindset, yet is happy spending considerable time in data, and can creatively solve client problems as well as presenting data to generalist audiences in a compelling story. This is a client-facing role, but you will be supported by team members who will set you up for success in one of the best companies to work for.
The Sr Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organising and analysing information to identify project trends on behalf of agency clients and make necessary recommendations. Partnering with members of global I&A and our clients agency team and utilizing our global service centre as a resource, you will document maintain and scope projects, workback schedules and resource planning. This role will own projects of varying complexity and work with internal partners and clients as an analyst, a trusted advisor and a consultant providing quality work, strategic insights and recommendations that deliver impact.
Core Responsibilities:
Play a lead role in a number of our client’s teams - which may include a combination of multi-market and UK accounts - taking ownership for the successful delivery against KPIs/metrics. This includes:
- Executes social listening/digital intelligence and measurement assignments, including KPI frameworks, with minimal supervision
- Accurately collects, organises, tabulates and analyses information from multiple data sources, pulling out crisp insights and recommendations
- Proficient in developing research reports and presentations
- Applies critical thinking skills to identify appropriate data sources and mixed methodologies
- Owns ad hoc and ongoing client projects, with resource management (people, tools, vendors)
- Acts as a trusted advisor and consultant to internal partners and clients
- Effectively presents research or measurement results in a professional manner
- Other job duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Adept at interpreting a variety of different data sources from qualitative research to primary survey data to secondary data sources and creating a cohesive story
- Demonstrable experience of running measurement programmes across multiple accounts and presenting analysis and recommendations to clients
- Expert written and verbal presentation skills and ability to translate complex data into a compelling story
- Is comfortable proposing and presenting recommendations back to clients and partners
- Working with and creating databases and dashboards utilising relevant data to inform decisions.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficient with digital and social media tools including Talkwalker, Crimson Hexagon, Brandwatch, Similarweb, Comscore, Factiva, Facebook Analytics, Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, Audiense.
- Must have strong Excel skills and be adept at pivot tables
- Knowledgeable about descriptive statistics and their application
- Knowledgeable about standard KPIs and industry standards for communications
