The Role:
Our client is seeking a pro-active and passionate Digital Marketing Manager who has proven experience of using current marketing tools and strategies to lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution. You will develop, test, implement, track, and optimise our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
This role has both strategic and hands-on elements to it with clear agreed KPIs to meet, such as improving traffic to our website and increasing the number of inbound high-quality sales leads. It’s a role that covers planning, execution, analysis, and the ability to provide clear insight to management about the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of our digital marketing strategy and achievements.
You will have demonstrable experience designing and managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, social media platforms, PPC performance, and other demand generation campaigns. You will possess solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to effectively interpret data to ensure the right results. You will also have a great working knowledge of CMS (we use WordPress), CRM (we use ZOHO), and newsletter campaign systems.
The successful candidate will sit on the management team and have a fantastic opportunity to drive the direction of marketing for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of the marketing plan - budgeting, planning and execution
- Control and manage the company’s online presence and maximise exposure to key target audiences
- Management of the company websites
- SEO/SEM and PPC management
- Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Manage the social media profile of the business
- Producing and implementing the marketing communications calendar
- Creating new content, white papers, customer case studies and blogs and publishing in line with the communications calendar
- Managing marketing services agencies (copywriting, design, and web)
- Ensure the right conversion points are in place and meet agreed targets for web traffic and high quality in-bound leads
- Production and updating of marketing materials, including product datasheets and brochures
- Planning and managing exhibitions and events attended by the company
- Customer communication
- CRM management and maintenance
- Meeting agreed KPIs and reporting on achievement
- Any other task that Synel management requires you to perform.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience within a B2B environment
- Ideally hold a business or marketing related degree
- Excellent written and verbal English with the ability to write copy
- In addition, fluency in French preferred but not essential
- Detailed web and social media experience, including SEO and PPC management
- The ability to improve digital performance based on analysis
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- High levels of creativity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel and web tools
- A clear understanding of the brand you are to work on
