The Company
I am seeking a Senior Marketing Executive, specialising in social media, to join a high-profile digital healthcare provider. This is one of the world’s most trusted knowledge providers who have more than 50 million users from over 150 countries with access to their websites every year.
Their head office is in London, with more offices in China, India, North America, and Wales.
The Role
In this exciting role you will use a broad range of social channels, tools, and content to create innovative campaigns that will promote awareness and usage of this customer’s products.
Working in a fast paced and ever-evolving environment, you will be an expert in social media who is able to lead the social media strategy and advise other departments on the best use of the channel.
You’ll be joining an innovative and results driven team, so someone who is experimental in testing and driving new initiatives, as well as creating solutions and ideas, will thrive in this role.
With experience of working with both B2B and B2C clients, you will have solid social media experience at a senior level, either within a digital marketing agency or in-house environment.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills
- Extensive experience of using paid and organic social media to reach and retain consumer target groups, increase consumer engagement, and influence audience behaviour
- Understand audience measurement techniques and analytics and how to use them to drive campaign strategies and KPIs
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and Social Media tools, such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite and Talkwalker
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across a number of departments and products
- Ability to work under pressure to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Responsible for managing own workload and providing regular updates to the Customer Marketing stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience of using social listening data to enhance campaigns, sharing relevant information across stakeholder groups
- Creating eye-catching social posts with a graphic designer for specific target audiences.
- Reporting outcomes and the impact of activities/campaigns undertaken to enable continuous improvement. Being able to present the ROI of your paid social campaigns.
- The ability to utilise social media to tap into commercial opportunities, with knowledge of social selling
- Great presentation skills - the candidate will be the voice of social media for the team
- Working knowledge of current social media data protection challenges and policies. GDPR.
Qualifications- A degree in Business/Marketing or similar demonstrable experience in marketing (preferred).
- Google Analytics and Facebook Blueprint certification (preferred).
- Experience using social media marketing platforms (e.g. Hootsuite/Sprout) and deploying effective social media campaigns (essential).
- Experience of implementing paid social marketing across all platforms, facebook, twitter, linkedin and instagram. (essential).
- Confidence in writing compelling copy for use in social media and advertising (essential).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across teams (essential).
- IT competence, including Google applications and web skills (essential).
- A good understanding of the healthcare market and healthcare professionals needs (desirable).
