The Company:
The Digital recruitment company is working with a growing hotel chain offering great value to find hotels in great city centre locations around the world.
The Role:
They are currently on the lookout for an experienced Marketing Executive who can work seamlessly with other members of the marketing and revenue teams to proactively manage key relationships (agency and internally) across the online and offline marketing spectrum including email, push/SMS customer engagement & customer service, web content management, SEO, brand/collateral, performance management, research, and reporting. Providing executive assistance with key project management as may be discussed and agreed according to business needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing multi-lingual email / push campaigns (BAU) through Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Producing testing plans for campaign improvement so each campaign has learnings which improve campaign performance
- Maintain a clean database and build segments to help improve campaign performance
- Understand the importance of GDPR to the business and help Head of CRM as a data custodian.
- Lifecycle management of email / push notifications through salesforce marketing cloud. Always looking at how you can improve the performance of lifecycle messaging through testing and learning approach.
- Actively look to suggest new life-cycle triggers to build better relationships with customers
- Work with the team to improve the number of active and new users on the database.
- Weekly reports executed and used to form basis of recommended improvements to campaigns and lifecycles.
- Manage and report on key customer feedback through salesforce and Hotjar. Escalate critical feedback to relevant teams in order to action responses in a timely manor.
- Working with team to actively manage the relationship with creative and print fulfilment agencies (branding)
- Support when and where required the social media management via social content curation and creation – measuring / monitoring engagement and reporting on results and making improvements to performance
- Manage relationship with web development agency regarding design concepts, layouts and content management using the CMS.
- Act as the hub for all website content, managing new content and translations.
- Assist the marketing team of ongoing brand development/roll-out and the routine and comprehensive review of all website imagery. Provide brief/art direction to source and commission appropriate images
- Take charge of brand developments and the management of the fulfilment relationship with suppliers. Act as brand custodian/police.
- Collateral – manage “cradle-to-grave” fulfilment via appointed supplier including creatives, print and management of the budget
- Take responsibility for the planning, scheduling and executing of all EDM campaigns. Manage testing, monitoring results and looking at ways to make improvements. (Test and Learn)
- Monitor the performance of triggered/automated campaigns and make sure data flows are not broken in order to keep triggers running to the correct schedule
- OTAs – Assist revenue team to ensure everything is on-brand, providing informing and engaging copy, managing pre/post stay messaging, managing expectations, and stimulating up-selling.
- Manage competitor audits/research and reporting on existing efforts
- In-house customer research
- Work with other departments to increase NPS scores
- Assist with monitoring and growing of the customer database as well as supporting the creation of new data segments and customer personas
- Any additional activities as required by the CMO, Head of CRM
Experience/Skills:- You will have experience of managing campaigns and life-cycles through Salesforce and social platforms
- You will have experience of managing effective agency relationships across the marketing mix
- Experience in customer data handling – compiling / consolidating data for reporting purposes
- Able to work accurately with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken
- Great communication skills (both written and oral)
- Analytical Skills: Experience of pulling information and data from numerous systems to produce accurate and timely information and analytics
- Excellent command of MS Office suite, with a focus on MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Excellent understanding of customer personas, data segmentation and personalisation
- Good understanding of customer life-cycle and customer life-time value
- Demonstrate excellent internal customer service
