The Company:
The Digital recruitment company is working with a growing hotel chain offering great value to find hotels in great city centre locations around the world.
The Role:
They are currently on the lookout for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to be responsible for developing and maintaining digital and brand marketing strategies to create value for and increase the profitability of our client’s company.
What you will do:
- Champion the brand’s profile and positioning to establish the brand and maintain its presence in the minds of the target internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure full co-ordination of online and offline marketing activity with agencies and be main brand conduit inside the business
- Work effectively with all stakeholders to ensure that the Marketing and Communications strategy/activity is aligned with other areas of the business to maximise revenues and profitability
- Ensure development of consumer and trade communications and marketing through all available channels including digital
- Further develop and position our clients Brand, working with internal resources and external marketing and content agencies to develop strategic campaigns aimed at driving revenue growth
- Work with the Head of eCommerce to agree the strategy for marketing, and then create strong and effective plans, over-seeing delivery, tracking success and reporting back to the wider team.
- Management of core digital marketing channels (PPC, Meta, SEO, affiliates) via agency
- Taking full ownership of marketing in terms of briefing requirements and ensuring that cost efficiency/value is achieved with external parties.
- Develop the Social Media Strategy and content calendar with agency and manage the implementation, overseeing communities, responding to individuals, social listening, creating and posting of content and encouraging engagement.
- Plan and implement effective PR campaigns.
- Manage website content and updates as required.
- Work with brand agency to manage the customer relationship in terms of queries and compliants via each hotel and social media streams.
- Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
- Analyse post promotional campaign data and make recommendations for future promotional campaigns.
- Design and complete quarterly franchising newsletter data & copy collation.
- Manage the brand guidelines through other departments.
- Monitoring of competitor activity
- Work confidently with Google Analytics, Google My Business, affiliate network platforms
Experience/Skills:
The candidate will be organised, methodical, ability to multitask and to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and orally. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate clear strategic thinking yet remain hands on. They will need to be able to work in an entrepreneurial set up that has high growth ambitions. In addition, they will be able to demonstrate the following from previous jobs:- Developing and executing consumer/customer focused marketing communications plans
- Driving consumer / customer propositions through all digital channels
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
